Seems like a good idea. Did you tried it in some prods?
Not yet, I just wrote it. Some guy who is deeply into Amiga game creation and image compression suggested to try this. He correctly predicted that you can achieve PNG-like compression in some cases.
Now make a demo about it!
Version 0.4 supports Atari format DEGAS PI1 as well.
Thanks a dozen for the PI1 Support - this program shaves 5-6k after compression! Great!
