I had in fact been planning this demo for months beforehand but i ended up coding nearly all of it on the actual day, so it didn't have as much stuff in as i'd hoped. It is supposed to be OCS but falls short by a hair's breadth. Fun fact, it is actually a modified Mr Beanbag title screen, which is AGA dual playfield with 8 bitplanes. Patarty has only 6 bitplanes so it can work on OCS if i just correct the second playfield palette offset. Also the code uses some 68020 addressing modes and there are a couple of KS3.x calls iirc.. so it needed running on an A1200 at the party but i hope to get it running on an A500/+/A600 soon..
I might finish the rest of the demo as well while i'm at it, and i've started thinking about a Patarty game as well..

I just couldn't get rid of it. I was trying to pack but everything just turned into "it's not a roll mat -- it's a roll ma-tay, yeah" and on and on, forever.

Lovely stuff. Single-handedly ensured that the oldschool compo was completely impossible to vote on, because even with the lack of effects compared to the other entries, how can you not love this?

hehe, well, i wasn't really playing to win by that point tbh, i was just relieved to have been able to submit anything at all, so i'm happy it's gone down so well
Bring back the real Scene. I've had it with one-screeners and compo-fillers. ENOUGH.

Anyway, the planelasma is nice, the tune is awesome and the jokes are enough for a sensible chuckle. Just a bit more TLC on the graphics would've been nice, but still enough for a thumb. Keep on partycoding funprods!
