atmospheric, minimalistic, great soundtrack, good duration of the scenes. well done!

You already know the little things I would've done differently. Those don't matter though. What matters is the the final product, which delivers like a beast. What I love is the surprising amount of subtlety in the storytelling (not going to point out, left as an exercise to the reader). That's what makes this special if nothing else.
I've been wanting to make the brutalism demo for some time now, but luckily I feel the well hasn't ran dry yet. If anything this case study just fuels my interest further. :)

very good soundtrack, liked it a lot
I liked the demo - good style, interesting to watch... but I want to see any kind of DOF or more lighting effects(I liked a lot the the scenes inside the buildings coz there are enough of cool shadows).. however it could be author's goal to make it looks how it looks

Miskolc a király!

I thought it was pretty good!
From a technical point of view, I tried playing around with my driver settings to diminish a bit the little bit of aliasing left, with not much success.

We need more of this.
Nice moody demo and looked awesome on my PC with GTX 760 :)
O_o--b
what's the intended narrative? that the demo ends when the demo starts? :)
de hol marad az avasi kilátó ?:)
Noby's insistence on "direction" shines through, but it feels like someone followed a tutorial on where to put the camera and how to copy a default palette of framings. Don't get me wrong, it looks good, but not great, not genuine in a way; too shy and off-a-list the colors and textures, no conviction and suspense in the soundtrack, and ultimately no real point and convincing crescendo to wrap it all up; So it's middling. Better than "ok", but not really something I'd remember in a week. Garg is a great engineer, but needs an artist to put a dent in the right places to make it to the next level.
(sorry if some of this sounds vaguely insulting, I really don't mean to. :)

brütäl
oops.. forgot to thumb up
I'm not sure if "enjoyable" is the right adjective.
uhhh, what a gruesomely great demo, the sound creeps me outta...
Love the direction, love the sound. Great atmos, great scenes, great vibe.
CONGRATS Gargaj, this was something very sp[ea]cial.
Just can't say enough... TRULY AWESOME!

dope.
Good atmosphere, rendering and cameras!
Camera angles of great suspense leading into a bit of an anticlimax though. Like most dark ambient demos (I've made a few too!)
wall! .. booom/fear/darkness... and now...................................wait for iiiit................ WAAALLLLLL! ..
But I'm not looking to find much of a story in demoscene stuff. Then I would watch a movie instead.

Brütal!
tense
Good direction and flow, great soundtrack, ending is indeed anticlimactic but I think subverting the audiences anticipation is a nice touch.
However I feel it could've been better if you'd introduced more(read any) contrast in the visual language, imho showcasing brutalism is all about that contrast just like sense of scale is. From a technical point of view, in the beginning scene the lighting feels a bit too plain for my taste overall though its in the okay to good range. Some textures could've needed better alignment, that bars should've had their own material and not be concrete also I feel some slight post proc would've gotten you a long way(slight vignette and DoF + tiny amount of bloom).
To be clear: I still consider this a pretty good demo even though it could've been a 4k ;)

This is not about tech but about design and making for a dark and special atmosphere.
And as thus it succeeds perfectly, so thumb up!

Nice buildings!
I was hypnotized and then the prod suddenly ended.
What the hell?
What the hell?
I want to do similar demo, just better ;)
It's not bad, but I don't know, I have mixed feelings.
At 2:35 textures (on columns) seem to be pretty low-res. In few other places as well ;P
And as Trilkk says, I also thought there will be much more going on after - I must admit - pretty cool scene near the end. Feels like teaser/trailer to an actual non-existing (yet?) demo.

dope.
yea.
Solid sound design, direction and pacing. I'd wish for slightly faster camera movement, in some places the feeling was more standstill than monumental.
geometry doesn't get more static than this
Sülyos.
Should have won.
brutal. love those inceptionesque drone sounds. my dreams will be rendered in concrete tonight.
That ending. You provoked me and left me anticipating. :D
Plattenbau forever.
Ooooh, the atmosphere. The soundtrack. The way you build up tension and then leave us all hanging :)
Only nitpick are, as others said, some textures that are too low-res or weirdly mapped (the normal map in the beginning looks stretched).

:) agree with sensenstahl
Slow, but decent. :)
atmosphere
minimal, dense.

Never thought I'd enjoy so much grey. :) I love the demo: The atmosphere, the awesome sound, the slow cameras, the story build-up, wonderful! I didn't know the term "brutalism" for something like this; makes further research into this style more easy!
The only nitpick I have is that due to some visual glitches (clipping? aliasing? Sorry, I lack the newschool technical term for that ;)) during the slow zoom at the end, I realized beforehand that the cube in reality consists of several objects and would burst sooner or later. This can be seen in the YT capture as well, and it spoiled the climax for me unfortunately.

somehow fascinating!
visually simple but efficient, i really like the soundtrack here, trapped between major and minor, never resolving the tension, and very atmospheric, the overdrive adds a good amount to it. i'm not sure i get the story as intended, but that's not crucial to my overall impression =)
i love it
I usually hate flyby demos with a passion but, well you know, #FUCKYEAHBRUTALISM
nice & dark
thumb for the athmosphere
want more of this
won, should have
This is intense, I love it!
wow.
just wow.
that demo catch me by surprise and never released me until the end.
i totally love it, moqui found the right word for it: « intense »

end could have been more effective.
ok.

the good parts are .pretty good.
-Best demo title of the year
-Most industrial feel demo of the year

I like that atmospheric mood.
Pretensions, but with zero ambition. If you're gonna stick with the OpenGL Test 2000 quality, can you at least let us set shadow quality?
Who will be the first to understand Brutalism? 77% are duds, so the pretense remains just that.
The crowd-pleasing BASS drawl tapestry speaks to me, but the standard 4K exe gfx visuals and nonexistent camera work proves so dull that even imagination can't create a story where there is none.

Good... Work on ambience ect... But can we have more dynamic... It seems to become a tendency in the demos to have semi static scenes... Please make fun stuff !
Piggy this time. Atmosphere and ambience are really cool but technically it matches demos from roughly 10 years ago or even better. I'd find this prod impressive as 64k (or even 4k nowadays?)
Aah! Great
23 MB slideshow. Sorry, no.
Great! Very Good :)
moody
Ranks high in my most-pretentious-and-longest-demo-title category.
Would have worked in size limited form.
Play NaissanceE if you like this.

Liked it, the events are perfectly timed.

It's not easy to know what to think about this one. On one side it has a powerful dark feeling about it with a great soundscape and colors - this opens up for some interpretations and makes it fun (but in a dark way).
At times it does however feel like it tries too hard....hard to pinpoint exactly why..
All in all, thumbs up!

It's like Darkness Lay Your Eyes On Me without size restriction, even the long name! :)
Realistic, as for me. Nice ambient, really AMAZING graphics and cool ending.
great experience
nicely done
Pretty void
great brutalist demo!
Love the bass cutting through in the middle. But wished it would go any further after the „end“.
