@Beb: Thanks, I just updated the tracker following your suggestions. -P enables playback following, -k1 sets QWERTZ keys and -k2 sets AZERTY keys.
The concept of a minimalist player and music is indeed attractive! Still, quite a hard-to-use interface for a 2017 software.
It works well. The only "bug" I've found so far is when you save a song, it seems to automatically select "rygar" no matter what you've loaded before.
Will the sources be released one day? Maybe it could be compiled on Linux for example.

vgm specification and examples (vgm format itself, and text converted from vgm2txt) not only is a great source of information (how each sound chip works), as might help the inclusion of vgm format support, which would be really great

@Garvalf: At last I found the origin of the bug you reported, I was sorting the files AFTER looking for the currently active filename; I just rereleased the tracker to fix it. Thanks for your song, the first one totally written from scratch with CHIPNSFX!
I'm looking for a tool to compose music on my real cpc464 (tape only) system and your tracker is pretty much impressive, i've tryed it on mac OSX with VirtualBox - windows xp : it plays songs and edited new one like a charm !
I think i just love it !
The text file format (.chp) is also very editable, so that can open much possibilities.
My goal is to play my CHIPNSFX creation on my cpc464 : i hope i can achieve that.

It's the first anniversary of CHIPNSFX! I just made a special release featuring 365 sample songs and including the tracker's source code: it's in the minisite link.
Two games (Duck Out and Basket Cases) and one intro (Isometrikum) featuring CHIPNSFX were released during this first year, as well as several standalone songs. Thanks to everyone who helped me and worked with my tracker.
