I much prefer the 2nd part, but interesting technique overall. The first-part effect with the circle reminds me of a formula linking a number with all its multiples that I've seen some time ago in numberphile I guess, but I can't remember which exact video was that.

Ok found it! It wasn"t Numberphile but Mathloger: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhbuKbxJsk8
We have the same matter of interest :)
Always good to see more demos for the SAM Coupé. Very interesting to see you use the beep channel to create 4-bit sample. I created a lot of interesting sample effects and code for use with my Quazar Surround soundcard which I launched for the SAM back in 1995. I'm currently creating the replacement for the Quazar Surround and aim to be launching it in the coming months, more news in the forthcoming issue of SAM Revival magazine.

The tune in the first part doesn't work all that well, but other than that I quite like this "music experiment" :)
I think it is the circle that is copyrighted by some ancient Greek geek :P
Proof of concept thumb though it did some time for me to recognize the original in that
ok
