Because the color cycling at 2:17 looked as cute as the screen shot suggested.
Never had C64 but this demo looks like quite a jawdropper, love the color cycling effect.
I now saw it on real hw (and due to a series of misfortunate events locked myself out of the office due to it and had to spend a night in town because my keys were still in there... oh well call me bittin) and have to say those parts are really well done and smooth.
Makes me a bit sad that they arent being used in a more coherent prod (or more than one? ;), but small releases "on the side" are awesome too!
