Zlew and XT95: Ran just fine here under Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial), Intel HD 4000 / GTX 460. When I first installed Xenial, most things did not run / compile, it was a pain to tune it.
Nice code and quite pleasant execution. Have you implemented a CG/CPU-detection algorithm? Amiga'ish music! Althou not to EZ to read your scroller due to its position and these jumping balls... But seems not a big loss, since it has nothing important to say. Looks from its (scroll) content the guy who wrote it had fun(?) with some ego trips.

Nice balls, reflexions and shadows. The scroller has not enough contrast and the reflexion on it is not that good (makes it ugly).

Exactly how a modern version of a crack intro should be done. I know a lot of sceners work in the game industry and I understand piracy can suck but I really miss crack intros. Maybe it's just nostalgia but that is how I discovered the demoscene originally, I'm sure many others were the same.

The "1mb" complaint I understand (FWIW I did some digging and you can easily get your 5MB raw logo down to ~160k, but hey), the "5 people" I'm not sure about. (what's really the problem there?)

It's one screen with an xm. If you still don't get it, then we're probably looking at it from a completely different angle. Which is, in itself, not a problem at all :)
So your argument is that since it's a one-screener, the coder should show off his best coder colors and not ask an actual artist to draw a nice logo, also pixel his own font and god forbid, don't let the musician have fun and do a co-op?
