Here's an intro that knows exactly what it wants to be, polishes that effort to a mirror shine, and I cannot commend it more for that.

So clean and stylish. Amazing soundtrack, had to double check that this is really 64k because that music sounds way to good fit in such a small size. Fantastic effort.
loved that soundtrack, and the visuals are awesome aswell.
This one is a compowinner IMO.
Probably my favourite production from TRSAC - very very well sounding, and very pleasing to look at, even though it's relatively "simple" stuff.
The "led-disco-triangle-tunnel" scene worked really great on the bigscreen!

Delivers.
great great prod in all the ways
Fucking brilliant. Watch, worship and learn.
that was nice.
Sweet music, especially for 64k. TUnnelscene was <3
Have some YouTube
Have some YouTube
Every single 64k intro track and synth was just made obsolete in on swoop.
Nice sound
The bowlingballers are back.
Butter for the eyes.
Cream for the ears.

When I watched it in the compo I wasn't 100% sure if it was really that good or if we all were just too drunk and hyped up.
Now that I rewatched it sober with good headphones, uh... OUCH. What noby said, bigtime.

Very nice !
This "triangle tunnel" is wonderfull !! I want this IRL !

Holy shit dat music. I'm in awe.
This reminds me of the Moderat show I went to a while ago. Technically super hyper awesome, flashy and cool, super well produced and a cause to envy for all competition. I just didn't feel it at all for some reason. All this and nothing to say.
Style, style and ... style!!! Music rocks ... especially for a 64k.
Very diversified soundtrack. Love the subtle use of sidechaining. The visuals are absolutely on par with it. Mind -> blown!
wow, one of the best 64k intros this year.
the music is just awesome. it can easily compete with the work of artists like bonobo or sekuoia.
the music is just awesome. it can easily compete with the work of artists like bonobo or sekuoia.
Awesome music and the visuals have that sweet dreamy neon quality with some eye-drawing crisp hi-res elements in these. Smooth and pleasant to look at.
Sweet. I wonder how many kb were spend on the ihh/ohh-samples. :)
Very nice
Amazon in all aspects! One of the best 64ks!
insanely good and cool!
*Amazing! (Dann you, autocorrection!)
had its moments
got me. seemingly simple, yet beautiful =) extra thumb for ♪ ♫
Thoroughly modern, looks/sounds like a pro-gfx-designer music video and not a 64kb intro.
Nice!
ohhhhhh
ferris: nope, it couldnt wait ;)
on the other hand: i always like having the party version and the final available both.

oh, and obvious thumb
Oh my god this is insanely good
Thumb for the helix effect
niiiiiiiiiice \:D/
Modern and polished
Nice, but the music made this one. I'd like to have seen some more interesting visuals. Then again, I'm a gfx coder :D
Great sound, stylish visuals. Very solid product!
May I use the soundtrack in a scene-related podcast? And by the way, how much kilobyes the song+player takes?

totally love the purity and style of this .. so clean yet detailed, complete .. amazing.
dat soundtrack. visuals look good but lack the wow factor to make this one of the best 64ks
music
nice
bloody mentalists !
loved this! really nice visuals and easily the best soundtrack I've heard in a 64k before.
O_o--b
awesome
I'll join in on the praises of the soundtack and synth! To my ears it sound just as good as most full-blown mp3 soundtracks in demos.
Nice visuals as well.
Nice visuals as well.
Pure audiovisual sexyness.
Sweet :)
I like both the music and the visuals. You would think that at this stage no more 64k intros would surprise us in 2016 and *WOW* what a cute disappointment! :-)
very clean.
Logicoma is up & coming! More please! Awesomess awaits!
wow, instant love, the polish, the details, the exquisitely crafted music, one of my favourites this year, will watch again for sure, gonna show to some mates as well. bang tidy guys :)
Top stuff.
What they all said. This one felt polished to the extreme and the vocal samples make this kinda unique for a 64k intro
great soundtrack (for 64k especially), very nice well-designed visuals.
some pretty heavy gmunk inspiration spotted :)
some pretty heavy gmunk inspiration spotted :)
Awesome music, polished, tiny, love it !
What smash said.
Wow. Reminded me just a little bit of Everyway (and Daft Punk helmets), but with a lot more variety. Polished so hard it shines!
Wow! The music! Visuals are also quite nice!
Contender for the most stylish production of 2016 and one of the richest sounding 64k soundtracks I can remember. Massive massive props for this.
Such an amazing 64k, really loved it, thanks! :)
Wavesabre must be one hell of a VST.
Oh, the soundtrack. <3
Wonderful to still see (reimagined) twisters in intros. Very well done. Gave my GTX 970 a workout.
How did you compress the voice samples?
How did you compress the voice samples?
Hmm.. one of the very few demoscene productions that doesn't look amateurish. How did you guys do it !? ;) Anyway, as others have said, it clearly raises the stakes for 64k in the future.
Great music, visuals, direction and sync, wish I had the hardware to watch it in realtime.
Nice
I'm sitting pretty comfortably in the 15-25fps range (good enough for me) at 1080p on a Radeon 270 which should be somewhat comparable to a 870M.
@ferris: most of the time I'm writing my intros in 320x180 to achieve something that resembles realtime :)
Whoah... does anyone know how to get in touch with these guys I'd love to see the source code :)?
Or do demoscene folks not do that ever? God, I'd be interested to see the shaders.

Its a secret. Common demoscene law: NEVER show your secrets. If you wanna see how most of this stuff is done, just read Shadertoy, all the concepts these days are all there.
ferris: Nope, just one GPU here. For reference Fermi is in a similar 15-25 range and Dlyeum is a solid 60 with occasional drops, both at 1080p. Mind you though my CPU is still from 2007. As said I don't think the performance here is lacking really in any way, it's not something I look for in demos to begin with either :).
good stuff!
What everyone else said pretty much. I really like this one and esp the music :)
One can only hope that this marks the beginning of the end of generic, mega-sharp filter-sweep nonsense in intros. Holy hell that soundtrack is superb! The intro itself is wonderful too. Well-balanced, looks good, lots of tiny details I really appreciate (like the framing objects and how elements enter the scenes), well done!
fresh as fuck <3
Really smooth! Love the music <3
Woah, awesome intro! Really great to witness some proper use of sampling and not 20 years old music style in a 64k! =D Great collab.
Btw seeing as the intro itself is 21:9, next time please include the proper resolutions for us 21:9 folks :) (Same goes for the video caps, crop the 16:9 letterboxing if possible.)
Awesome 64k! Amazing soundtrack and really like the visuals. Eventhough the effects and geometry seem relatively simple, everything looks super stylish and polished. Love it :)
Made with awesome!
see what you did there with that analog TV test screen derivative - thumb. now another snes one, ferris :)
Amazing audio and video, quality hipster bullshit through and through!
This is a very nice intro! Scores on all fronts. Congrats!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
tremendously stylish gem!
"What category is this? 64k? Nah. Listen to the music, that must be a mastered track. Sure is nice, though."
Looks and sounds(!) way bigger. Great job!
That music!
Woaaaaa... shines bright!
heres the thumb
Love it!
Absolutely beautiful
Music is distinctive h0ffman sound which hasn't become stale (yet), and of course is fantastic for 64k. Visuals are super stylish and I love the sync, but I also hope to see some more complex geometry/effects someday. :)
Btw, I love that you included sync in the credits as its own category!
Awesome.
superb.
Superb music, pleasant visuals. Would've been good as a demo, damn sweet for 64k.
Superb stuff! really tight!
Really nice! Probably one of the best intros in 201X :)
fucking rulez, loved the pussy motive @1:13...this really wants me to hop on the rust bandwagon and choo choo the fuck out of the 64k étalon. Visuals/music is bombastic, more of these please!
Wow, I really wouldn't be able to tell this is a 64k's soundtrack. Standards are getting high...
Very nice otherwise; must have been quite a trippy soothing experience on big screen.
Very nice otherwise; must have been quite a trippy soothing experience on big screen.
Thumb up for the music which is impressive for a 64kb. But the demo did not move me.
Supermegadope! I really enjoyed this and the switching focal point stuff really made it come alive it for me. Loved the music too! Really looking forward to future 64k loveliness from you guys <3
What a great 64k! The music is impressive, visual were nice and synching good. There could have been a bit more "action" in the later scenes ("rings") to match the music, but that's basically all I could bitch about ;)
An absolutely amazing production.
Can't forget to mention to amazing music aswell.

Wanted to make a demo with this aesthetic. Inspired a little bit by ME!ME!ME!? :)
Smooth AF, but not smooth enough to get past Windows Defender. Youtube it is.
Music is way too good for a 64k.

Real good stuff. Encouraged me to learn Rust.
Simply great - must highlight the smooooooth track.
What the HELL?? This totally blows my mind. I drooled on the table.
Ferris, Wobble, seriously? You totally unleashed your inner Ebbe there! Absolutely amazing music too, and seriously more than the sum of its (fantastic) parts.

That vocal samples in the music...... are they generated?
oh yeah, real solid -- cool track and cool visuals :9 mby a bit long towards the end.
Totally sweet, nice track, cool visuals, pretty much perfectly formed.
Decent. :)
Solid. Very chill mood, yet still brings the energy and punch to the screen and speakers.
Very cool. Amazing, how well the gmunk-tunnel looks.
Nice and the music sounded like an mp3 playing.
I must say, THIS is my cup of tea! Simple, stylish and extremely well done!
Tune absolutely kicks ass, accompanied by top notch graphics which focuses on being nice and not techy. This worked well. Im looking forward to the next release!
Btw; awsome write up! I was unaware of this till now. You just got a new follower :D
Much love!

Best in this line I've seen since luma. Very cool!
Well done!
<3
This one has style.
great music
great!!
Nice
Well that was...Thank you. I was somewhere else for a few minutes.
By the way, I have a triple portrait surround 16:10 setup plus bezel which amounts to 3300x1680. Very often demos dont recognize it but adding desktop resolution would be nice.

Wunderschön und großartig!
I don´t know, this didn´t get me at all.
The music is about the best of the whole prod, while i don´t like the track! But the sounds are splendid!
The Effects are very simple and the design may be good, but it completely misses some buildup/climax/teardown somehow.
Well, it bored me...maybe that´s just a matter of mood today, idk. A pig for now, will rewatch and maybe then change it...

Great tune, great demo.
awesome, just awesome
Thumbs up for the skills required to pull this off, but to be honest, i finished watching it 2 minutes ago and already forgot what it was about.
very awesome shit
simple and effective.. but too polished for me.. still:
this looks and sounds fantastic.. <3
Fantastic! Only youtube vote though.
The synch is awesome and I really like the little touches, especially I'm happy someone found an acceptable and stylish way to do a faked framerate drop. Having said that, I really didn't like the twisting strips part. I think it was something about the colours at that part which bothered me. In any case I can definitely see why this won!
Hey wait what the hell, THAT soundtrack in a 64k?? Guys, that is simply amazing! =D
Quite nice.
Love <3
Whatta beaut!?!
great editing and design. the actual content is at times a little bit generic (the sphere at the beginning), but composed well enough that it doesn't really matter. maybe the camera could have been a little bit more interesting with longer lenses for some shots, but I'm not sure. amazing 64k overall, and congrats for apparently completing your toolchain! everything about the music has been said already :)
ferris: I had what felt like a level-up by using longer lenses when we made this prod by just framing our material/lighting test scene (made of a bunch identical generic test objects) in interesting ways. FOV was as low as 1-2 degrees in places iirc. Also this thread. Just play with the focal length and see what happens... maybe map it to ctrl-mousewheel or something while moving the camera, so you can fly backwards and adjust focal length at the same time. You'll see :)
Yes!
very great !!
Lovely, both the visuals and the music.
nice effectsts, but really they look pretty awarage.
Cool music, cool effects, love that one :)
7/10
👍
I know... This is great...

for the audio.
fkn good 64k
"should run smooth with almost any gpu" does not take into account that the audio thread demands quite a lot of cpu horsepower ;o
anyway, this release is outstandingly delicious!

Gorgeous
Very stylish and perfect music!
best intros from 2016 imo.
A modern classic. The quality of the soundtrack is insane for a 64k.
I'll try launching this video fullscreen at the computer stores, and leave without a word. I don't think the staff stops me.
Bit late I know, but this is just phenomenal. Well done
How did I forget this ? Very nice .
Great synth and music, sweet visuals!
good music and good visual :)
the quality of this (especially the music) left me speechless. gigathumbs!
awesome!
this is beautiful... :O
Holy shit, Gargaj wasn't kidding about the mirror shine. This looks and sounds impeccable, and the synth in particular just blows my mind.
A nice big cup of beautiful with a side of bassy goodness.

Damn - didn't comment yet! Not here, at least.
The instrument work is really amazing. I'm extremely curious to one day get to see how it's all put together. No doubt that wavesabre really marks a new era in 64k music - perhaps together with 64klang2, which of course hasn't seen it's full potential yet.
On the visuals of this beast, one would have to comment on the great work on the sync. In modern 64k and with rocket and other tools, being on beat is more or less expected these days. With this prod, you've managed to get it JUST right - in the sense that it's not totally overdone with stuff flashing all the time. The visuals really fits the fantastic soundtrack.
Last praise from me this time, will definitely have to be the credits/font rendering. It looks really, really great. Love the glitches you made and the color choice is spot on.
A HUGE congratulations on this prod - it's easily on my all time favorites list!

Thanks for the breakdown videos !

woah! I love this!
so... ehh... great?
HOW COULD I FORGET ABOUT THIS ONE!?!?
Here there are 57Kb to enter the Hall of Fame of the demoscene. Congrats!
Excellent stuff, boys ... didn't see this before now
It's nice that you help small unknown parties like TRSAC, but since the danes boycott the Norwegian parties, we should also boycott theirs.
And even when you get robbed (your 3rd place for Engage at Revision) it's still better than 1st. at TRSAC

Well done and a good example of the rust programming language.
Love this one. Code and music totally sync, Perfect job for my eyes :-)
Nice doc, and that's look nice to be there... next time who know. ;-)
beep. oh
64kb with such music is sheer crime! <3
Great job! It works flawlessly on Ubuntu 20.04 using wine 5.5.
Forgotten thumb. This blew me away back in 2016, and still does!
Totally forgot about this one. Still holds up well in 2021 with both music and design.
