Guys, i've done sooo much MIDI myself, i instantly can tell apart the three keys you used :D But the grainy effect plus camera movement are indeed very pleasing =)

Yep, Darkness lay your eyes upon me comes to mind, and I wouldn't mind seeing the glowing crack.
OTOH to stay on the same type of visuals you did here, it could have been cool to see a mid-break where we'd see the landscape on a monitor ( different angle, a shade of blue/green and scanlines or vertical blank banding effect ), or with some gibberish text overlays

A bit too long but the rendreing and the camera movements are really great.
This looked a bit bland on the big screen (contrast setting was wrong?) However, when run with a normal monitor it just looks awesome.

ts: I agree, I was very aware that the intro is very sensitive to the conditions in which it's viewed at, which is as close as possible from down angle in high resolution and preferable not in too high fps. The compo in that regard wasn't disastrous but not ideal either. It's an illusion after all, the environment matters :)

Still doesn't run here (white window with sound), but I got too curious and had to watch the video. Damn, what an impressively awesome 1k. Way beyond anything else I've seen in that format. Very clever idea as well.
