Awesome roto-zoomer.. love how the HAM fringing creates almost an extra layer of anti-aliasing... tell me... how do you write to this HAM screen with only 4 bitplane DMA enabled? I have been racking my brains, but can't suss it :D
DanLemon: you enable 7 bitplanes in HAM mode, which (on OCS) only enables 4 bitplanes, and the controlbits are placed in BPL5DAT and BPL6DAT
britelite: I saw that :) and I see you have a particular pattern of words in BPL5DAT and BPL6DATA, but can't work out how you are picking the right palette value for first pixel, and modiying to get the correct final colour after the fringing.... I am guessing the source texture has 3 "pixels" per pixel, and modifiying green, then blue on the next pixel.. so that you always have at least 2 pixels of final colour. something like this, with a well defined 16 colour base palette ?

Ah, yes, that's kind of what I meant.. that the full colour is on the last 2pixels of the 4 pixel span :) I am going to have a look into this, it looks like a funky mode for all sorts of tricks :D

Now, I've got it. Took a while till the penny dropped; I can tell you,
inhaling too much TEMED, ß-mercaptoethanol, and formaldehyde is not
so beneficial for your brain and body!
