Really nice to see these oldskool heroes from yesteryear return with this groundbreaking release. The design may not appeal too much to newer generations but technically this demo will convince anyone with any level of serious Atari ST scene experience :)

A stock STFM, 1 MB, fullscreen madness :-)
Thing is with these megascrollers, I'm never sure whether to try to read them, or let the goodness onscreen wash over me. It's late, I'm tired, I'll go for washing over!

And this is for a stock STF
:U Ouch!

Really impressive work.
Nice.
With much anticipation Ive waited for this release, to find it displaying garbage at my screen during the big scroller and crashing 10 seconds after this. It seems it went out of sync :(
Impressive scroller routine!
Just wow !
Really good stuff.
Very cool !
And a job for Leonard to make it work on Saint !

Impressive indeed! Great contribution to the STNICCC 2015 demo compo!
Great stuff.
Colourful overscan scrolling like never before!
Nice tune also.
Nice tune also.
Nice.
Despite the glitches (hard to avoid with boundary breaking stuff), it's probably the most ground breaking effect on STF in many years.
Well done :)
Well done :)
Cool demo and amazing for 1mb STF just saw it :)
I admit it's hard to really appreciate if you're not ATARI coder. But believe me, that demo features the most technical fullscreen technics never released on STF. It uses technics discovered only few years ago. One of the author (Troed) did a very good technical presentation about it: http://www.stniccc.com/html/down2015/sync.pptx
live presentation here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4WJYyoF1Lk
When I first saw the demo on the big screen at STNICCC I was not really impressed because I though it was an STE demo. Once I learned it runs on STF (no hardware pixel scroller), I was totally amazed.

Wow, this is an amazing STF demo. Beautiful work.
also for tune
wow
Yes, crazy discovery years after !
I listened to the demo in a loop for an hour. The soundtrack is hypnotizing. I especially like the "digi drums" which are no digi drums at all! Just super cool YM parameters to give a great illusion. Superbe job, 7an!

+1 for breaking Hatari, Saint and Steem emus!
Complete madness! I love it!
Glad someone found the time to build a "real" prod using part of those sync techniques (re-)discovered during the last 10 years.
Just imagine this would have been done in 1992/3 ...
Not tested it on my real ST yet as i am having some works at home and the machine is inside a package box. But i will provide some feedback as my 68000 is a 8.0071 MHz version.

Decent. :)
Thumb up for the nice tech, but the design and pacing is too "traditional oldschool" for me.
I'm not sure I understand all the technical details but it's certainly my style of demo.
OMG this demo shouldn't be possible on an STFM!! Some really outstanding techniques used here.
More a demonstration of the techniques than an entertaining demo, I still support it and hope you get enough machines to now bring them to all STs :)
Not a demo but an intro? anyway: I like the way, big impressive fx on screen.
somehow I missed the thumb event. shifter panic. anyway really amazing STF techniques surfacing after all this time! great work in old style...
Impressive and ground-breaking!
Rocket science! Impossible last effect.
Tested on a 1040 STe/4Mo, but there's a bug, small black lines (~32 pixels spaced with the same amount of pixels, repeating every 2 or 3 scanline). Will test it on my 520 Stf ;) Amazing work.

Is there a version that works on NTSC STs? I have an NTSC 520ST w/ 4MB RAM and Rainbow TOS and some parts are off-sync. Most other demos auto sync-switch to 50Hz and run fine on this ST, fwiw.
nice
Is there any news on the fix yet? I have to run the demo many times before my ST displays it correctly.
yes
Wow! :-D
