Hi. I just want to say I love the music, definitely suits my taste at least. This is great for a first demo and I really respect a one-man show. I look forward to seeing your next release.
music was awful soundwise. maybe would work without all the cringy rhythm samples.

Really nice music! Visuals are okish. Overall not really bad but kinda boring to watch. Motivational thumbs instead of piggie for releasing your firstie :)

Great for a first prod, even greater for a one-man prod! I like the subtle sync, the slow pace and the distortions. Some of the colors were good, some a bit garish though. ;)
For my taste at least, the TV visual style doesn't really match up with the more modern raymarching effects. I couldn't get this discrepancy out of my head while watching this.

For the atmosphere!
Great first release. The style is however horrible - too 'artsy' for my taste. Drop the 'noise' transition and create some content and your almost there!

some scenes are actually quite nice. some other scenes are pretty darn ugly.

Btw, I thought the music was good. Nothing amazing, but it fit well with the atmosphere and definitely didn't take away from the demo, which is no small feat.

As for the content and colors, yeah I know there can definitely be a few improvements and I actually had a lot more planned. I'd say it needed about a week or so more to reach where I wanted it to. I basically ran out of time, and decided to just call good enough and release it. I just couldn't wait for the next demoparty :)
As for the music, glad some of you actually liked it :) I know there are some sound quality issues (especially in the video version). I'm not really a musician and just recently started learning how to make music, I originally wanted to have something more fast paced and interesting, but couldn't pull it off :) so I just went for an ambient backdrop to fit the visuals (and adjusted a lot of the scenes to fit the music), for that I think it did the job and I'm happy with the end result. That said, I'd love working with a real musician next time :) you can contact me at sohx1.demos@gmail.com if you'd like to collaborate.
@1in10 + @leGend - I added the drums to add some more excitement to the mix, basically didn't want viewers to fall sleep haha, and didn't think they sounded too bad (they are sounding much worse in the video version). I just tried a build with no drums, and surprisingly it does work quite well, some of the glitches feel out of place but I could have designed that differently. Too late now, but thanks for the feedback :)

Obviously needs some more love when it comes to direction and (especially) music, but the overall look really works for me! What the other guys said w.r.t. the late-90s vibe.

It hangs together, nice job. I like where you're going with the music, but I think everyone has heard these particular drum samples a few too many times. I'm looking forward to more from you!
@andr00 Thanks! yeah, this was a bit rushed overall, Next one should be a bit more polished, and with some better drum samples hopefully ;)
Forgot to comment on this. I largely agree with legend regarding the music. The visuals are very enjoyable, in the beginning especially and then again towards the end. Nicely analog looking overall :)
Thanks noby :) Yeah, that whole cave section was a quick last minute addition, I probably could have made it look better.
I did not like the modulo repeating objects but other than that I liked the colours and analog feel.
