Nice effects, style and music. Felt refreshing.
Quote:
the fullscreen work only in winXP. More recent version of windows, restrict the terminal mode to windows-sized. I did though to render the demo in win32 to make it fullscreen, but though maybe that could disqualify our entry?
I don't think it would, as long as the demo could still be watched in "pure" textmode as well. There's been TMDC entries with alternate (graphics) modes..
..but then, I'm not running the show anymore, so I don't know =)
omg what a lovely tune! sexey twistors are sexey. and the greetings part is really different. well done!
..forgot the thumb.
Like Preacher, felt refreshing :) Nice ideas, nice music, nice demo.
Excellent tune, nice graphics, interesting effects. Lovely textmode demo, well done! :)
Music is too forgettable for my taste, but the visuals are very nice, especially the greetings part!
nice visuals. and i like the early 80s porn soundtrack too!
Sweet graphics and decent effects. The music sounded too wannabe-80s-ish for my taste and the visual styles were a bit too random, but this was still an enjoyable show.
Thumb.txt
Nice text demo with some good oldschool effects and great music.
I really enjoyed this! Thumbs up.
what Maali said ^^
Nice effects, particularly like the water and raytracer.
Very enjoyable!
Nice!
Really enjoyable!
Lovely. Smooth effects (loved the zoomer and the water) and enjoyable soundtrack.
Cool!
Nice one!
Really enjoyed the greetings part, it had a "soul".
Great gfx.
Pretty good textmodedemo overall.
Great gfx.
Pretty good textmodedemo overall.
well a bit sad that most of us have to live with the youtube capture to appreciate the prod at full, but its really nice. so heres your thumb.
Excellent in visuals, audio and style with some really fresh ideas!
Didn't like this much at all unfortunately. The effects are uninteresting to me and just don't look good. The water "simulation" was good as I like those type of effects, but again its presentation wasn't nice looking. I guess it's the visual design overall that bothers me, especially the colors. Textmode imposes a load of limitations of course but I've seen several of these demos that looked much nicer. The track is pretty forgettable but not a bad one. I don't agree with the production but I like its airy feeling. Way too traditional for my taste I suppose.
Nice!
visuals
wysiwtf, F-Cycles: No need to reinvent the wheel, there are already textmode wrappers like ftw7 (just have to wait for untergrund.net to come back, or get the source) and consolewrapper (that one seems to crash with this particular demo, though).
I don't actually mind traditional as such if it feels entertaining :)
great text effects! the fluid and snow accumulation were really cool
Not bad. Funny title!
really nice one!
Good one!
nice sounds and effects
nice.
Fall in love since I first saw WIPs.
a bit mixed about this one....
Nice effects, and nice melodic music. Well done guys!
This is quite cheezy, the music and the choice of the palette. Blocktronics guys - your "detox" demo was brilliant. I expected a bit more real ANSI art here. Piggie.
Cute!
the track was wonderful
Sweet :)
Rather enjoyable, the music suits the visuals very well, good job.
Considering the artificial limitation of textmode, something about the overpowered CPU and the streaming music made me think textmode type lowres effects would be a better fit for an actually limited platform, with music to match.
Great use of TM, great music!
ok
Sweet! Nice track, especially second half

if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.
instead, click here !
it starts in fullscreen but the actual box that is drawn to remains terminal-sized.
