Basic effect on PC/Amiga my friend... ;) do it on 6502...
Nice effect but unfortunately, the music really does not fit. May finally the demo does not booted again 15 minutes (similar to C64 demos) ;)

Well. music is a special thing on the Atari. POKEY... the music ... chip had been created in the mid 1970s, and it seems, the creator didn't have a clue about music. But, it's not all hopeless ;) , as POKEY offers more than intended by the creator. Sadly, you'd need a special software to get the max out of POKEY.
To write it in other words: POKEY usage humbles approx. 30 years behind graphics of the demo.

I have choosen one of Miker's old unreleased MPT tracks because it sounded "unusual" somehow to me... I like it and that's why it was choosen as "alternativlos" ;)

first tests showed that c64 is little bit fighting to get the same impression and speed...

Yeah, we have internal Desire "battle" regarding that fx :D.... Plek & I. I appreciate his work and experience though but 6502 is not the fastest beast in calculating stuff esp. in 64k ram limit (or actually on Atari you have max. 56k).
