Atari does what Philips doesn't!

The game map is really big and impressive for an Atari! The amount of characters on screen is astonishing for a system with no frame buffer. Sometimes the amount of flickering distracts me, but I can excuse that since it's a VCS demo. The controls are a bit wonky though. Why did you make it so that KC Munchkin bounces off of every wall he hits? Overall, great 8k with one minor flaw.

Works not as a demo for me.

It's always a demo Tom, even when you play since you're never on your own but participating in the demo via cooperative play with the CPU - you can let go of the stick at anytime during play to revert to pure demo mode and see. You do need to find and eat the orbiting power pellet to make the demo mode more interesting, it seeds the random generator and KC can eventually clear the board and make it to the next level in total demo mode (no user interaction). You will break the demo if you've got paddles or a sega pad connected though :)

I get you, but demo mode and demo are IMO something very different.

For me it only works as a game, like Bell Hopper.
