I remember been impressed from the side of coding this demo the first time I have seen it with a friend of mine..
Not my favorite though..

Bloody short, but brilliant. I wish there was some port of it so people with *real* 3D cards can watch it too =)

phoenix: you can still download a glide wrapper, atleast i think it will work.

I tried a few a while back, I don't recall that any of them worked.. oh well, maybe I'll try again someday.

the music is a reason for thumb up alone, but the 2d gfx and the fact that all this was done on a shit voodoo-card makes it a great production

boring. nothing more to say.

looks very unfinished and empty. or is that a poor go at minimalism? the overlays are gorgeous, and save the prod from a thumb-down-of-doom.

For 99 this was definitely worth a look. Oh my time passes on and on... :)

Anyways, pretty good demo with an awesome tune. Nice overlay effects too. Definitely a keeper. Heh, my first non-integrated video card was a Voodoo 3 ^_^ It kicked ass at the time =P

Well this brings back memories to me. Didn't know there was that wrapper. Unfortunately it's not as good as in my memories :)

One of the very few highlights of Asm'99, but overall rather bad. Nice overlays, though.

Not a very complete prod and it is easy to believe that this was rushed together in 42h. There are some good aspects to this, but there's just too little and it's all not put together very well at all.

Guess it speaks volumes about the quality of the ASM'99 that this got 1st. Do Zen which is really a good demo should've won though. This deserved 2nd.

Heh, haven't watched this one for many years (since I ditched my voodoo2 for a geforce2 mx back in 2001-2002 or something).

Not as impressive as I remember it, I think I was impressed back then. But then again, it was one of the very few accelerated demos that could run on my voodoo2 :) Nice overall, to many visualice objects/overlays for my taste :)
