Yet-another-vimeo-clip-demo. Lovely visuals, but again same kind of teasing as with the rest of the compo I've seen so far, the demo just ends right after I'm starting to get interested. The ideas that did make it do warrant the thumb though.

Nice and b0rked! The lowfi visual aesthetic kinda reminds me of ion-traxx. Music is dark as all hell, but kinda needs a fifth layer of destruction :D

nice music and glitching visuals that follows it.

really loved the direction & progression in this one.
with of course a very high production level both in the visuals and audio.

great prod.

nice muddy feeling on that music! the visuals are cool. It's like evil IoT devices are coming to health scan your ass. Needs more dog!

Interesting. Would've liked to have seen go further, but what was there I enjoyed.

i think there is a slight mismatch in pace/video/audio. Yay, subjectivity! I like it nevertheless and the soundtrack lifts this out the piggie region =)

really like the visuals, they remind me of the hcf intro :)
music is well made but not my cup of tea

Cool part that looked inspired by the Halt and Catch Fire tv series intro. :)

Strikes me as an advanced compo filler that spends a lot of time being uninteresting, and then ending before realizing its full potential.

For a short demo, it hits the spot. Top end quality and attention to detail.

Ah, return to four-word-titles. :o) Nice work ... strange but nice.

This one was fun making and I am pretty pleased with the result, so thanks folks!

Ah, return to four-word-titles.

Ah, indeed! And, this demo was all made of quads, so it fits perfectly. But wait, something's amiss! A quick count reveils that this one is the third black diamond in Dead Roman's necklace of doom. Now we can't have that, given all the number magic going on at the moment. Stay tuned :)

I like the original Halt & Catch Fire intro better, but this is a good facsimile. The 3D models are ugly.

From coder's PoV, this prod was HELLA SLOW on my gtx 570. Looking at the cube scene, it must be the post-processing most of the frame time goes into, and the visuals do not justify the framerate I was getting.

But really, the prod ultimately wound up being.. boring. You guys did some amazing prods in the future, so I'm keeping my expectations bar high and can't give anything else but a thumb-down.

This one just don't do it for me. It's clearly missing some more main effects / concepts than was shown. The bells and whistles (post-proc) sync just isn't enough to drive the whole demo, but it helps a lot - it gives it a professional touch. And its has pretty lights.

I will stay tuned for sure!

even though a bit eventless - i appreciate the mood and the burial-esque beats

A bit mixed. Biased because of some annoying screenflashes but the concept itself is nice so weak thumb up.

I thought some of the Dead Roman demos were a bit more impressive direction-wise.

very good music. liked the parts with faces and moving lines, which builds the tension for me. hated that rotating animal, which reminds me of standard duck like object scene.

Great music, but the direction and pace was not my cup of tea. Didn't know the original and watched it just now; liked it better. Weak thumb up.
rulez added on the 2015-03-25 10:25:36 by Kylearan Kylearan
I had to watch it on YouTube due to my ancient, updated Windows XP Pro SP3 and ATI Radeon 4870 video card (512 MB of VRAM). It was OK.
