I don't understand why this needs to be so long. It's basically the same flyby (driveby) over and over again from somewhat different angles and that's it, which gets old very rapidly.

Camera interpolations looked odd when the car needed to follow a bend in the road. Also too long an uneventful for the content

It's okay, but I agree with Puryx about the camera paths - it was a little jarring in places, as if the velocity was discontinuous. The colour changes managed to freshen it for me though.

I like it! If it had another car driving the other direction with a chick inside and then they crashed by spacecutting into each other like if going through a mirror.. it would have been car story demo de force!
I see where it's going. Would have loved to have the VCR-glitches synched to the beat a bit though but thumbs up! :)

I love the concept/idea, but:
- Scenery just doesn't look any good.
- Drive mechanics are way off (no sense of speed or even variation in speed, weird linear looking cornering partially as a result).
- Way too long.
I'm sorry but this just doesn't warrant a piggie. Wish you guys would've spent some more time on it.

I like it. Nice relaxed demo with great music. For some reason this reminded me of Automan which isn't a bad thing either. :)

The final version of Night Drive is now available for Windows, OS X and Linux (64bit). There's also a video for download and on Youtube. The final features a new version of the soundtrack and some visual tweaks here and there. Enjoy!
