Very nice, much better than any Shockwave stuff I've seen so far...
Looks like a true demo to me, nice, complex, abstract, shiny objects.
I really liked the last object, with the raytraced shadows, looked amazing.

It's look nice, but it's slow on my 650Mhz and it's a little boring too. get a happy pig !

maybe there was some ok stuff but the graphics were ugly and the music was REALLY crappy... macronaut is a lot better shockwave demo than this

It's really nice, I just wished it could go fullscreen. The abstract feel is nice. I started to like it after around 2 or 3 minutes as the effects gote better and better. It's definately got some good technical features. Maybe some fades between scenes would be nice thoe.
I thought this ruled. Music was seriously unimaginitive, but visuals were great. And the animated menu at the end was a nice touch.

Great comeback (if its a real comeback) for this old group and for Shockwave it looks really good. But the music could be indeed much better.
The visuals are good. But id love to see the scene muicians realise that there is more to drum'n'bass than photek and drumpatches distorted into hell...
Just wanted to say thanks for all feedback, Im glad many enjoyed it :) Btw: I like Photek - and I liike monotone tracks - the beauty is within the overtones - distortion - modulation. Anyways - the next demo (no promises) will be with totally different music - we are like 5+ musicians in Darkzone - and I am definitely low ranked in that department :/ I hope we can get darkzone.no up with some content - theres a lot of unreleased material and solo projects...

It's not that the music is bad. i like photek too. But it would ben ice with a demo feat. some more...update style dnb. Imagine a demo over a tune like Pendulum - Trail of sevens. It would be refreshing if the visuals where timed to the music different layers.

Great stuff! Innovative tunnel fx & nice models throughout. The music was definitely influenced by photek -- sans bass (or anything besides drums, actually) -- works well but never 'peaks'. Overall a great production, and I could really get used to shockwave demos if they were all this good :)
I didn't know such things could be done with Shockwave. I'm very impressed!
The online version crashes (and make iexplorer crash, too) if you don't have a soundcard. Yes, I know... there's no point in watching it without a soundcard, but...

try the online version in case the link's broken . .it's very cpu-efficient; but apart from that it's really good lookiing.
Ok - both online and .exe version should be back online now ;) The online Shockwave version can be found here: http://www.i-arts.com/darkzone/dz_awakv1.htm - and its the only one working on Macs.
Good stuff, I like lights and shadows emulation part at the end. But the same thing made with Alambik could be 2 or 3 times smaller, I guess.

i really like, very nice work.
nice, espeically for shockwave, rather traditional direction-wise but interesting nonetheless. music was very bland and unimaginative though.
