Beautiful pixel gfx and tunes, some cool looking scrollers too.

A fantastic beginning that the latter part doesn't quite surpass, but fantastic graphics and effects.

Sweden pwns in Netherlands :) I especially liked the bold and distinct graphical style in this.

Expected epic demo, with good ideas, many scrollers and some amazing effects. I mostly liked the bob effects, snake scroller and final star wars.

F.O.P. in cruise control. Rock solid, but lacks the wow factor of some of the other x'14 contenders.

Some parts are very cool, but the first ones are too long.
rulez added on the 2014-10-27 10:46:50 by Manwe Manwe
liked the first scrollers, the elastic physics ball thingy and the final bump-shaded vertical rotation scroller

Another great F.O.P demo!

FOP demos do have a cool atmoshpere and mood to them and this is no exception. A little shorter than the one from 2012 too :P
They had a tough competition so i guess 3rd place it is

Awesome

I hate scrollers. Without them and more tightly edited this would be great. Obviously once again high production standard, but sadly only delivers a fraction of the time.

Enjoyed so much this excellent demo! <3
A bit long though? (usual complaint for c64 demos)

Great circle effects!!

Of the three top demos from X this year "RGB" is the most imperfect, the most unbalanced and the most human. The opening scenes, with their hidden (unintended?) citation from Lana Del Ray sets up the mood really well. "Will you still love me when I am no longer young and beautiful". The actual basic concept (three colour components) is too weak to hold the demo together, so it starts to feel a little tired and runs out of steam towards the end and it is not really delivering on the promise of the opening scenes. Still, for me personally, this is the only one of the three top demos I could really connect to.

Again, all these top C64 demos are just great. Some pixel perfect gfx in there, tunes varying from nice to great, cool scrollers.. almost everything looks very polished. And what a beautiful beginning..

I really liked this! It got of to a bit of a slow start but then picked up towards the last half!

Drags on forever, not coherent at all. I appreciate the effort, of course.

stunningly great effects and transitions, but the music is a bit too dark and serious, and the visuals and music don't feel like they're doing the show together. it's as if they were made separately without a common production vision.

Heavy code once again! I especially liked the Offence-Scroller, which is perfect by now! Patience paid out! Please keep on using it in every prod, as this is one of the kewlest effects in demos ever!
Music and Graphics ace as always!
I love Scrollers, but maybe this one had too many of them! ;)
