For some reasons I liked the ribbons the most, together with that render athe the end. Music rocked as well!
Yes, live all you can! I could nitpick about some of the colors or the sync or about couple of the being dog slow even in windowed mode but meh, fucking love it.

Very solid, but I can't help thinking it all looks a bit tired and too much like a rehash of 10+ year old effects with a new shader on top.

I love the style and colors in this one! Some scenes look awesome, some mediocre, but it's all refreshingly different and good-natured fun. Thumb up!

I have uploaded a new version, fixing:
- Ugly aliasing around credit sprites (premultiplied alpha issue).
- Possible flickering at the end (ribbons + Kindergarden logo part) and crashes that may have resulted from what was wrong there.
- And, *drumroll*, Titan lost their second greeting to Poobrain! :)
Available as soon as gloperator patches the download link.
A final version may or may not come, for the time being I'm done making promises ;) But we have a list of ideas and issues ready.

Wow!!! Amazing graphics!!! What a nice groovy oldskool trip with a modern look.
Style and presentation reminded of early 2000's which don't normally fancy since there are quite a few prods who default to it. But you had fun with it and that made me like it. :)

Looks and sounds totally slick ! I love the logos/gfx/style in general.

Wow! This feels like a trueschool flashback to the ol' good Byteraper's demos :) Love them sweet twisters and the lightcasting CGS object, which felt like a tribute to Nexus7/Andromeda :)

Liked it a lot - thought the music did not quite fit IMO, but then some very nice fx.
A little light on content, and the volumetric effect scenes were sluggish on my machine, but there is some fresh style in there. :)

I liked the highly stylized looks and bold work with colours (which seems to be the signature of Inque). The fact that the scenes are disjointed did not bother me at all. However, there is one thing which is certainly not right with this prod: the 1970s layers are way too clinical, too spotless. They give many scenes an eerie feeling of a sterile Windows background, esp. when combined with less flat (e.g. bump-mapped) objects.

@gargaj: In a stress frenzy we used an old version of the MP3 and given we were a few hours from compo I adjusted the gunshot. Final has the Punqtured louder track plus the machine gun shot. Again thanks for your cooperation.

kings of the playground comes to mind instantly ;) bang at the start is too loud compared to the rest, the text effect looks incomplete (?) otherwise, awesome =)

Quite a nice demo which has a bit of a 64kb intro vibe to it, and for me that is a positive thing. I like the ribbons effect.
Pretty cute! Looks like it came out in 2005 but at least that's the kind of oldschool I can live with. Unless those diagonal stripes count as rasterbars...

Changes:
- Now runs in DirectX 11, not 10.
- Not just letterboxing if aspect needs adjustment, also pillarboxing.
- Windowed version is 720p.
- Requires/uses AVX instead of SSE3 (should be no problem on x64, if you haven't got it I'll detect it and yell at you).
- Better (read: actual) D3D error reporting.
- Better performance in full screen on "lesser" videocards.
