Cool!
That looks cool now on youtube :)
Alien Predator colors. But cool anyway.
pitty it was shown fucked up...
A 256b that doesn't feel just like a single effect experiment? Hell yeah. The music helps the impression.
Impressive
Feels bigger than 256 bytes
very good
what orbitaldecay said :)
Great. Has ideas. And sound.
Only 16th place, how is that possible? Superb this one
This rocks hard. Deserve better than 16h place....
nice "concept" and music
This is actually pretty cool, even though it came 16th :D
Unbelievable how you can squeeze all that stuff into just a few bytes. Amazing, really!
Congrats! It's a pitty that it wasn't run very well at the party.
Very neat. Would have deserved to rank much higher. Also, what noby said.
should have placed in top3

Seems that each Dosbox entry ran like throttled to 1% CPU speed or something. Everywhere else it runs just fine. So, if you think this deserves a better ranking, then tell a friend to thumb this up ^^
Did this happen for every entry? Most of the stuff came fine even if they might be needy. Or did they run half of intros in dosbox and other in real machine?
I think I noticed cycles MAX in my entry, but not sure.
Also, I notice now it crashes in real DOS after 2-3 frames. On 386sx. And then even on Windows XP. Ahh,. the joys of developing in dosbox and not in real machine :P

I mean my intro, not this one. Might try to fix it. Maybe..
Rulez!
fuck yeah!
Neat
Wow!
Brain fucked. How in hell could this be in the 16:th place!?!
This is one of the better 256bytes i have seen.

Well, that's yet another case of a prod getting poor votes because of a party screwup. It really should've been one of the top 3 256b entries. When I heard the tune play on the YouTube vid, I thought it was just added on top of the video. Of course after downloading it and running it on DosBox (Properly configured of course!) and reading the NFO things became clear!
Still, a really nice tune with some cool synced visuals! Yeah, the effect isn't that great and has been done before already and the ESC doesn't bring you back to textmode, but that's what you gotta deal with if you wanna have a tune in a 256b.

Awesome! Nice effect and good music especially considered the size.
hellmood: i've used _your_ config for _all_ dosbox 256 byte intros - i created the directory structure which was in your config (cd c:\dos\asm\).
How did this one end up 16th??
Bit too easy to see and hear what's been done. MIDI doesn't really fit in with doing a lot with little.
I liked this one very much. Very original.
cool!
This is cool.
My personal winner of the compo.
That's awesome.
wow
Nice. Did yu use the Clifford A. Pickover algorithm with Markov Numbers of p.27 of his "Computer and the Imagination - Visual Adventures Beyond The Edge" book in chapter entitled Grown Your Own Font" ?
Totally different under XP and DOSBox. Great
nice twist
yes
nice
