Tied for best soundtrack this year, more future jazz for scene. Visually quite good too, though the lens flares were a bit overbearing. Probably my second favorite demo this year.
This was so delightfully moody. The rotating spike tentacle ball almost ruined the show but luckily the ending picked up the pace.

grrrreat music and art deco'ish vibe to this! a bit gritty (SS)AO on the 3D wouldve improved their look imho.
I agree on the tentacle and lack of AO, but apart from that: solid stuff! Great tune too.
Some elements could use a couple more polygons as they look out of place (or, well, out of the year 2014). On the other hand, other models look really detailed. But other than that, it's great to hear some fresh music, we should have more of this!

quite nice and atmospheric, great skill with the music and it think it suits the visuals pretty well, on the other hand i cant help keep thinking that it sounds like the theme tune to some detective show :)

Not sure what to make of this. It's really odd, but after watching it stuck with me. And the music is really not my taste at all, yet again it stuck in my head. Clearly it's doing something right.
I am surprised this one didn't win. Looked much more inspired than the one that did. Not to say the other one wasn't beatiful. Maybe the music was bit too slow for the crowd? :D

Gargaj (well generally to PC coders): Don't fix your demos for 32-bit/XP. Unless ofc it supports DX9 and doesn't require >3GB RAM. Then you should. +1
According to the one-liner, Gargaj didn't think my thumb and my comment above didn't read positive enough. So: If your demo does not require above 9.0c and does not require > 3GB (no release so far does...), then it's in your best interest to care about minimum specs. This interest stems from wanting as many people to appreciate the exe and not the youtube, which may or may not apply to this demo.

When the demo started I expected to see something awesome as it looked quite interesting and promising. In the end I didn't watch the demo fully as I got bored after about 2 minutes. Music is not my cup of tea either. I may give it a second try later.

Well, that was different. Not usually my cup of tea, but I have to admire the creativity and effort. The music starts out as smooth jazz and takes a violent turn (as demos often do).
