lovely stuff man :D
thunderforce IV called. it wants this tune as boss music!
very nice one man show! :)

Immediately crashes on Win7 64bit, Nvidia 340.65.
Some dx 11.2 features from Win8.1 needed maybe?

Very nice visuals, KK! I enjoyed the scenes a lot (and the direction), and I think some stuff could have been shown a bit longer without becoming boring yet. The color sceme is somewhat obvious/canonical, but looks still very nice though.
The music... well, it's "interestingly" different from the usual 4k stuff, but sadly disconnected from the visuals IMHO. It's like watching a muted video while hearing an unrelated song. It's synced, yes, but the tune doesn't really fit the visuals.
Still, overall solid thumb up!

really great, and taking into account 5k: just wow!
crazy for 5k, especially the tune
Crinkler 1.3 was used to compress this prod = instant crash on Nvidia... Re-compressed with 1.4, no problem.
Average song and on the short side. Very good for a 1 man prod done at the last minute. +1 for multiple resolutions included. Piggy overall.

Awesome "one guy at party" prod.
I second Kylearan about the music.

crap tune, but thumb up for attempting to guitar-sound
Seconding Kylearan here. The music is certainly not your typical size-coded soundtrack, but it seems quite out of place. It's synched, sure, but not my up of tea.
The rest of it (the visuals) are very nice indeed, so there's the thumb. :)

I guess since I waited so long to post I'd be "thirding" now. :P
Pretty good!
Should have used another 3kb for the music :)
Nice colors!! Keep it up KK
Buzka ;)

Cool intro
Awesome hypnoglow, but the music keeps me from rulezin' it.
I love the spiky-looking black things against the background, but somehow the other effects took away from that impression. The tunnel-part looked nice as well, but at that point the magic was already gone for me.
KK: maybe inspire the sound from some top guitar players, I like this one http://youtu.be/v2AC41dglnM
Like it, but the music really sucks (sounds like a amiga racing game) (!).
The effects are okay but i really can't stand the music.
jesus, that music really sucks hard
Looks good, sounds bad (even considered the size). Piggie. :)
uh, I forgot about the crinkler thing. Thanks, it runs now. Visuals are good, especially in the very beginning. Music sounds a bit rough.
nice visuals, looks great, the music is ok, it very much reminds me of some guitar based mods on amiga (from Hard Drivin' for example), so i didnt mind it too much, nice work anyway :)
I don't even think it sounds that bad, the guitar sound is good enough for this size, but if there's something that ruins the fun it's the drums. Not really anything special, but I'm not bored to death by the visuals, so a thumb towards the desired direction will be my vote.
Good stuff... as always.
I agree that the music feels disconnected from the visuals. And I think people are much more sensitive to real instruments sounding fake and be annoyed by it if it's not real, unlike random synth sounds. I guess there is an uncanny valley for musical instruments too.
The visuals are great though :)

@KK : Strangely the music sounds like some car game tunes on Amiga (mainly at sphere part).
To me guitar volume is a bit high and sounds too "raw/rough" (see no offense).
Maybe it's just a question of "feeling" between visuals and tune, it's like there's no "connection".
It's a bit hard to explain, for this prod a more soft guitar sound or a chiptune ;-) would have been better imho.

gratz man. Good job, especially, it was finished at the Party
KK: Music composition is good. Simple but effective. Could use a few more instruments for variation and buildup though. The sound itself sounds a bit glitchy, but not in a "i wanted it to be glitchy on purpose" way.
Music is qute dummy.
Visuals are cool. I like colors and glow.

I really liked the music :)
KK: well it just didnt work for me, maybe it was the whole thing. I'm sensitive like that. Maybe a better chord pattern? A disconnection was made with music&visuals
has some framedrops @1080 on i7/titan. nevertheless very nice prod!
The visual style is nice, though the contents feel quite random. Music is not particularly pleasant...
I've listen to the demo again to better analyze the music since you asked for more details. I'm no music expert, but this is my personal opinion:
1- The guitars sound "cheap". Like old modules from 1989.
2- Guitar track in a module is very hard to do. After all those years, I think I was possessively impressed only once by a 4 track rock module with guitars.
3- My guess is you would need a LOT more guitar sample to cover all the spectrum more smoothly. Like 1 sound per note for each octave. That's a lot. Like the song "don't tell me" from Madonna where all the guitar are obviously sampled. Having 1 guitar sound and stretching it all over the keyboard over 2-3 octaves might not produce the greatest result.
4-If you would replace those guitars by some TB-303 baseline synth with at least some sustain and/or flange, you would immediately hear the improvement. At least you could test if the song composition/construction itself is at fault or if it's just about bad sounding instruments.
My 2 cents

High distortion guitar is the hardest to replicate but listen to this module with guitar with outstanding integration as an example:

a quick win for the rhythm guitar part would be to synthesize another sample for the palm muted hits... it's more of a difference than just a shorter adsr envelope. i'd play around with some lowpass filtering.
you could also try synthesizing a "pluck" sound of the plectrum striking the strings and layer that over the main string tone. also note that a real guitarists will never strike all the strings at quite the same time, try to introduce a slight delay for the higher strings.

Good job KK!
A nice little intro! Good stuff!
Krzysiek, great stuff, especially the guitar synth, first time I hear such guitar in 4k (you coded it by yourself, no sample hacks I assume?). Going to Berlin in a week or what? ; P
really nice "one man" intro!
music is a bit "meh" but the guitar sound is nice :)

Hardtro
Love the music, unfortunately I think, that the visuals are worse than your previous productions, some parts are way too dark without any lighting...
Really nice one man show. Visuals and effects are great. Music sounds over saturated. Nice to make something a bit different but way too loud and composition is average (too simple). I know it's hard to manage everything so I will thumb it up for sure.
not my kind of music! still rulez ;)
Wow, it actually run on my very old, updated Windows XP Pro SP3 machine with its ATI Radeon 4870 video card (512 MB of VRAM). I thought it crashed during the black screen, but it was just slow to start.
Music rules. Visuals too.
this one was pretty good. but how the hell did you get guitars in 5k?
regarding other folks comments about the music: i'm usually quite picky with music and how it fits the visuals and in this case it seemed to sound pretty decent and fitting to me, so i really don't see what all the fuss is about. that being said i was a bit tipsy when i first saw this, maybe it's worse when sober :) will have to watch it again sometime in the near future :)
visuals are quite nice but didnt really like the music.
I don't like the tune, but that may be a matter of taste. Thie visuals are great :)
nice effects.
Great graphics in this one.
Работает AMD R9 270x ( 13.12 ) :)
Ambitious music and actually pretty nice graphics.
decent one
Great one man prod, that's a pity it's an unfinished 4K.
Nice
ok, and brave attempt at music that doesn't play so well in the end
it's interesting to read the guitar starts as a violin gm.dls sample, I thought it was the gm.dls guitar samples

if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.
instead, click here !
Exe is 5k.
Have fun!
