As bhead said, horrible demo. Very sucky character animation etc. Only reasonable part of the demo is the beginning (see screenshot).
everything's bad except for the character models, and I can't help but wonder if they're ripped

This is even more hilarious. Long ugly 3d stuff (I wanted them to end) with several characters (demongirl, knights, robots, even darth vader!) with jerky animation (few positions without interpolating between frames), lots of castle scenes that are too dark here, more funny wtf stuff.
