i assume the concept for this demo was similar to that of e.g. complex-doomsday by doing pretty fractal zooming but imho the music really didnt fit the visuals and vice versa, so that disconnectivity kind of made it less captivating as it could have been. too bad really.

Trill: the vocals are sourced from the same source as that song - a license free, legally purchased vocal sample collection at Loopmasters.
I think this is a beautiful and interesting effect that is totally ruined by the cheap overlay-multiplier-mask that becomes dominant right when the vocals start. The beginning and end are both great though, and was together with the title effect in the b/w lies-demo the two most interesting screens from assembly this year.

4k without all the size limitations. I think it works fairly well; it's enjoyable and doesn't get too boring. But the music was a bit weird at times, with the vocals drowning a bit.

Far better than I'd expect is someone just said to me it's a demo with 2d fractals only, but it still gives me only a little more than looking at the wikipedia article on Mandelbrot sets.
