Warning!
Most probably it is not the REAL demo relased on the Polish Autumn Party 1993. The demo released was dongle-protected and very little spreaded...

POLISH SCANDAL
What you are going to read is a report from our Danish correspondant Christine
De La Queen / Spoon that, through one of the many informers she got all around
the world, could put her hands on a 'hot' story, a story about demos, money
and eagerness, a story that comes from the far east of the scene, Poland, a
country whose scene in the last times has proved to be at least as good as the
other countries ones. The source and editor of the following article is
Bodzio / The Edge, who gave us the permission to publish his name, bravely
careless of the possible 'reactions' of the concerned people.
There are NO two trackmos called "Impulse" and "Impulse2", Tilt is claiming
that... But let me go back right to the start of this story...I entered the
Scene almost a year ago in September'93, I met some guys that offered me to go
to the party with them. I heard about the parties, but I have never dreamt to
go to one. I agreed with pleasure, the party "Polish Autumn" was held in
Poznan and was organized by Mad Elks, Flying Cows Inc., Showtime and some more
groups. The date was 23rd and 24th of October (I am not sure of that), but it
isn't the point. The point is the demo-compo... Tilt showed their "Impulse"
which among the others entries looked extremely good and everybody knew that
it'll be the winner. When the organizers tried to run for the first time the
demo failed. Then someone from Tilt said that this demo runs only with a
special key-lock (it's a kind of protection to connect with computer), The
organizers ran the demo with this special key-lock. The demo was really
briliant. Guys from Tilt said that they'll deliver an UNPROTECTED version in
a few hours... That was a fake! No one never saw this demo in the original
version again (original means, when it was shown for the first time on the
demo-compo). No one, except Tilt members...They won as everybody thought they
would. But even when they were getting their prize, no one outside Tilt got
this demo. They lied, - got the prize and escaped! I doubt if it could take
part on some European party, they wouldn't got the prize if they won't throw
the demo open to the public after demo compo. Am I right? I don't know, coz
I've never been on any party outside Poland. Tilt fooled the polish Scene!!!
That is the brutal truth... Or they sat this up together with the organizers
of the party, but I don´t to believe that. Let there be someone honest?!?!
Ehh, it's hard to stand... Some months passed and no one got this demo...
Suddenly, right after The Party III, someone sent me a demo called "Impulse
II" made ofcourse by Tilt. I heard the story about it after a week from
Norby/TRSI. It was given to the organizers of TPIII as a contribution!!! The
organizers LOST the disks with demo from Tilt and with modules from the best
polish musicians (XTD and Scorpik). I am still wondering if it was accident
or... I got the demo from Tilt and it is in my opinion one of the best polish
demos ever and I think that it should had taken place among first five demos
from TPIII's results. Maybe someone was afraid that "polish beginners" could
be better than him. I really don't know what to think about it. But, on the
other hand that was good that the Tilt's demo wasn't shown... It would be
discredit of polish Scene and the organizers of Polish Autumn party.
[..] "Impulse II" looks exactly the same as "Impulse", so that's why I don't
see the reason to think that "Impulse 2" exists... The only differences is
the logo!! Next to the logo they have drawn the number; "2". It was drawn
later, the original screen was without this number. And there is an endpart
in original demo there wasn't this. Please note that in endscroll is written:
"Impulse - October'93, Impulse II - December 1993".
This is the proof of Tilt's lameness, they claim that there was two demos.
That's not true... Do you see now the perfidy of Tilt? THEY WON THE FIRST
PRIZE ON THE POLISH PARTY, dont spread the demo, AND THEN THEY ENROLL WITH
IMPULSE - THE EXACT SAME DEMO IN THE PART3 COMPO... A demo with the only
modifications as a redrawn title screen and endpart!!!!! See this? First
prize on polish party + SOME prize on TPIII = two (probably) prizes for one
work!!!! That is the reason: money! Money rules the world! It's smart, on
polish party it wasn't spread, so no one could send it outside Poland and no
one abroad could see that, only those 300 or 400 people on the party saw it
once!!!!!! Did they thought that no one of the polish guys will recognize
this demo? How could they be so foolish? I don't understand them, they're
talented and productive (on a party in april94 they contributed with another
trackmo, NOT "Impulse III" luckily, but a brand new and quite good one. They
didn't win, they took third place). They could work on a new demo for TPIII
and have a rest. Now the sceners will consider them as lamers... Tilt is
lame! This "happening" with Impulse prooves that! [...]
That was it. You, reader of The Charts, know now the truth about this sad
event. If you are in some way involved in this story (e.g. you are a Tilt
member), and your truth is different from the one reported above...you know
what to do! Another thank to Christine for her great work as reporter and to
Bodzio for the time he dedicated to this article and, indirectly, to us.

Interesting story about this one, would like to hear if there was ever any update on it. Demo itself wasn't bad, wasn't blown away but it kept my interest
