Apart from the fact the pointless rudeness, the pictures are original of course, as Jokov is actually the very same guy who participated in the demo, hahahaha.

Kakos_nonos, I seriously don't know what your tastes in demomaking are, but I heard you didn't like Heart Megademo because it has too much blood. If you don't consider it nice, dissing it over three not brilliantly executed effects, all I can say is that...

I like AER demos, but I still think that John Norton Irr's music, as well as his pictures, can't really be done without having to do some really heavy drugs.
The demo was finally fixed for perfect sync at 7 MHz (99K t-states) for ATM 7.10 users. Should work well at 28 MHz (Pentagon 2.666) too. The url is still the same.

Yes exactly. I spotted the tunnel in Yes and wondered why nobody used this effect for a long time (is it from Amiga OCS originally?). I thought about different methods to colorize it and it has finally found its place in NedoDemo 2.

@AloneCoder: I have seen many different tunnels in other demos for sure back then, but the actual idea originated while I was brainstorming what kind of full pixel effects I can "push" on screen in 50FPS with the single-slightly-modified-line like in copper bars, etc... If I would start from "tunnel" side idea, I would be probably stuck to round/twisted/dotted ones, which were more common, and difficult to achieve at ZX48 (! no double buffering needed for this one when done properly) in 50FPS.
The final demo contains a bit retarded LDI version (not sure if 25FPS or smaller resolution in 50FPS) because the PC emulators at that time were already used a lot to replay ZX demos and they had serious problems with pusp/pop vs interrupt timing emulation occasionally resulting in corrupted screen or crash under emulator.
Pity I'm too lazy now to actually code something, I still have ideas for technically impressive things in my head (although the laziness is bigger problem, the minor problem is the 3.5MHz is not that much, and most of the on-the-technical-edge stuff doesn't look good to people who don't understand the challenge, so those ideas are not *that* great :(, because the best ideas must also look good :) )

@nitrofurano, this demo doesn't use any ZX Evolution unique screen mode. It uses screen modes of ATM Turbo 2, also supported in ZX Evolution and Pentagon 2.666. The docs are here.
@lsl, ZX Spectrum compo organizers knew the situation better when they allowed Pentagon 1024s and ATMs in 2008. As for my opinion, this decision recovered the ZX Spectrum scene that was dying then (see number of releases per year).

We have it so much harder on CPC with 16k vram. With PUSH you can clean/fill about 10k in 50hz but no more. At least in Speccy you can do it fullscreen and still have few time left.

I guess compo organizers were far from the scene, they simply took a machine which was able to work, which SOMEBODY bring to the party. and they simply say: ok guys, do what you want for this compo-machine (not for our old "demo-standart" - pent 128). they are simply doesn't care about anything! and you just turned this fact for youself, and telling us the nice stories that they "knew the situation better"... lol:)

You can't run an Atari 800 XL 192K demo having just 8K RAM, can you? Or maybe your 8088/CGA PC runs Pentium/VGA demos?
Then as an honest man you should mail Sir Clive Sinclair (or whoever he sold his rights on ZX to) and inform him that a new ZX was produced in late 90s. But please, copypaste his answer here. Until then, you can call ZX ATM, Atari, kitchen mixer, whatever. You can even name you kid ZX (or ATM) it's up to you.
