Answering my own question. Tune is Fraxion by Keo (at least at soasc future composer list). Lovely.

Yes it is hypnotic. Rendition of Keo's old tune fits very well (and is a big part of the hypnotism)

Smart move to let a melody walk the channels ;) Reminded me (a bit) of Battle Squadron high score music. And I voted for this cos I liked the serenity of it and the visuals are interesting.

The visuals give me strong associations to incorrectly set modulo/datafetch, but it is nice to look at when you get around to accepting that it is actually meant to be that way. :)
