It IS the music. The Java version is a quite accurate 1:1 conversion.
Except that the tune is even more insane when played without that 4khz-lowpass-telephone-feeling :)

The java version has the music raw-sampled in an lo-fi .au file, which is the only sound java plays natively afaik. That's why it sounds so shitty.

Hehe, I'd commented the java version, but not this one. One of the first intros on PC in my mind to really combine amazing effects, good music and awesome design.

Like the tune. And the effects are great for 1994... but somehow, this never hit me as one of the very best.

Wonderful simple waveform music and an unique look. Really stands the test of time, I was introduced to it with the java conversion and I'm really happy to have a GUS to watch the original with now. :)

first one on PC. the PC scene started with 486, before ( 386 and less ) pc scene was amiga copies on way too much expensive machine to be interesting.

I remember first hearing this on a 512k GUS and enjoying the music. Then when I got a full 1 MB GUS, thinking jeez, all these sine leads are overkill! It is rather distracting and headache-inducing by the end.
