Well, I'm not much of a coder, but it's big and simple. The fact that the download link is what it is and the fact that I had rename the exe to run the starfield don´t make it much better. Anyway I won't thumb it down, because it's nice to see that there are newcomers.
download doesn't work at all (yes i tried right click..)
Hello SNOW
if this is your first release and first steps in coding small intros, it's quite nice, execution is smooth and clean (closegraph, vsync, using movsd). But
- why EXE? I'm sure in COM format you are able to have it as 128B intro, that would be more reasonable; below 1KB you should present coding skills (squeeze stuff as much as you can), not unnecessary rubbish
- infofile is fine, but why different names there and in pouet title? Adding "demo" or "1K intro" to prodname isn't so nice, and names like "starfield", "plasma" or "fire" were used thousands times; be more original
- your link isn't a good way to present your stuff, right click method doesn't work, need to copy-paste; for such small file it's not impossible to have better hosting
- there are a lot of original sources for small intros available, also well commented ones, try to analyse some, you can learn a lot of things that way

Pirx, thank you very much for all your advices. I will remember all what you explained!
zefyros, sorry I totally forgot the 8.3 dos naming convention, it won't happen again

all, sorry for the download link, I noticed only after submitting that the link was quite broken, I will find a decent hosting solution.
thank you again for your kindness~~

This is going to be a thumb down I'm afraid. In 1988 I would have happily thumbed it up if it would have been on a bootblock of an Amiga disk. In 2008 it's not impressive anymore and the size of 798 bytes is rather ridiculous for this kind of effect. Check Pouet for certain 256 bytes intros and you know why. :)
Keep improving and don't let this thumb down demotivate you, I am sure you can do better! :)
P.S.: Changed the download link =)

Here's the thumb =)
StingRay, notice that intro has 785 bytes, and most of them are not the code but exe-rubbish generated by some assembler/compiler.
Right, 785 bytes is of course correct (I guess I somehow mixed 785 and 196 (size of the nfo file)+random number ;D). Still, it doesn't change anything, I couldn't care less if most of the code is generated by some compiler (it actually makes it even more ridiculous then), size coding is not about letting the compiler do the work for you! :)
nothing special
hm

if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
