my favourite in the compo. superb execution, minor critic is the massive UNTZ in the music that is quite unnecessary. otherwise great one!

Meh. I kinda want to like this, but as a "one effect wonder" it didn't accomplish that.
I shouldn't have read the comments before watching the demo. My expectations were much higher, so I have to agree 100% with ccr.
Wow, nice concept, even if repeatitive, it's nice and I like both the lighting on the road and the sync progression.

Solid and a great tribute to a style of which there are way to many examples. Awesome. The seamlessness is executed perfectly. Inspiring and motivating.
Oh and what Maali said. The emphasis in the endmix on the bassdrum is a bit too much UNTZ. That level of BASS needs more visual power.

Mild thumb. The scene by itself doesn't work for so long imo, but it looks very good. The track makes this a lot more enjoyable thankfully, though it makes it feel like the visuals should have more variation.

incredibly polished. kind of wish there were more content and progression.
Cool Finnish minimalism, reminds me of a lot of Alt Party entries.
first it reminded me of the lost highway instead :) then the syncs became more noticable and it did feel more like a star guitar kind of thing. the progression got a bit uneventful near the end, but the execution was pretty good.

I guess you can pretty much use already blurred textures to make it look like video footage, but I'm curious as well.

- The music is a bit 'muddy'. I think it's partly the mix, which feels a bit bass heavy, but it's also partly that the music doesn't fit the demo too well. It really needs a lot more separation on the instruments, so the sync really stands out.
- It's either too long, or too short on content. The idea is great, but to keep it enjoyable it needs more and more things flowing by in time to the music, and I guess with a road there's only so much you can do. I mean you COULD add some roadkill in time to a new instrument, but.. :D
Still, this is good, and waaay better than generic-spinning-cube-with-white-flashes #8536 :)

Love this. Really great idea and superb execution. I am surprised by how "real" it looks. But yes, it either lacks a bit of content or could have been shorter. Nevertheless, awesome.
Really polished effect. Music is great, but I think it's a shame to not provide more interesting visuals for it. Works quite well, and what's there, is definitely good, so thumbs up for what's there, while wishing for more variation in future prods.
btw, does it look much better on hardware than on youtube? I was going to say the road could do with a little more motion blur, but figured it probably looks way better at 60fps :)

Great track. Nice concept. Could've done with a bit more variation in the visuals somehow and I was really hoping for it to fade up to the sun rising at the end, but definitely still a thumb up.

really like this. would of been great if midway through you added some rain effect hitting windscreen and dripping down screen or something along those lines.. if the raindrops refracted the road/flares.. yum! anyway, nice!

Great idea! There were moments where I thought "now the camera will look up to see the whole road..." but no. :)
Made with some attention to detail, cameral but... I've seen many audio visualisation plugins which were more advanced.

Lost Highway through and through... :) One asks himself: why won't the camera finally tilt upwards?

I've fixed the demo for 2024. The rendering got jerky in the original release in later Android versions. This release also behaves nicer and works properly in fullscreen. You can install the .apk directly or get it from Google Play.
