I'm glad I didn't waste my time doing a Jaguar demo for SV, It would have been ridiculous in comparison of this one... Best demo effects I've seen on Jag, congratz
Great to see a Jaguar prod once in a while. Keep 'em coming, though :)!
Oh, and YT link, please.
Oh, and YT link, please.
It works on Virtual Jaguar: http://icculus.org/virtualjaguar/
Way too short, but it's the thought that counts! Haha. I'll thumb this up anyway, because it's Jag, but I expected the Jag to be more prominent during this year's SV.
yeah sv may be over but more jaguar prods would be ossom!
Das h, and this is too

Here's a YT capture from the real Jag for you :)
Wow, really cool coderwise!
Checkpoint continues to provide quality release in the atari scene, even when in a hurry and distracted by setting up a milestone with Second Reality 2013!!!
Especially interesting in this demo is the ym-musicplayer: we easily recognise the music, but it sounds very different. It reminds me the "sin wave" option in Leonard's YM player...
Lsl, can you tell us more?

Metaballs!
More Info about the demo please!!!!
Nice one.
Indeed very unfinished, but it gives this a certain charm. Code seems pretty top, and the music works for me.
Wow effects!
Very nice stuff, the marching cube screen is just beautiful, also I think the prod has pretty design generally for such a rushed prod. Respect for all the work on those demos defjam/lsl!
about the music: base data is a pure YM-Dump from the Astaroth-tune by Mad Max. The Jaguar replayer features 2 envevelopes/channel convolutional Cross-fading. This gives you a more soft waveform of the output-signak. In the demo square & sine-wave were used for all chasnnels.
Short but sweet!
A giant leap in Jaguar tech code ! Excellent work.
@lsl: thank you for the answer.
The output really sounds interesting, wish i had some time to try it on other sounds (which is alas not the case).

More like a preview than a demo to be honest. But anyway, its a top class preview, hopefully we will see a finished prod one day :)
More please ^^
Seconding gwEm but the guy from Dresden hit the back of the net once again.
nice to see demo, or preview, for Jaguar but somehow I expect better/faster effects - I have feeling that Falcon can do similar things (but Jaguar should be way faster than Falcon? right?)
Nice. Now, add more graphics, a couple of more effects and design and finish it, please :)
Very nice work lsl, and great way to adapt a YM tune to DSP. Looking forward to more!
Upset I got rid of the alpine board long ago, wah :'/

todo: manage actual thumb on 2nd attempt.
It simply shows how Jaguar demos could look like! :) Great stuff, I hope there's more stuff to come! :)
codepr0n!
Fun to see good stuff on the Jaguar!
more please
If it's a preview, where is the final release then?
good
Nice effects and YM music on jaguar are reasons enough for a fat thumb!
looks unfinished but very promising to demo reel the technology available inside Jaguar.

if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.
