well. The tree sequenze was very neat, would love to see that in a demo. ~_~ in REALTIME no lame WMV ;Q
tree scene made me cum everwhere!
pretty cool, although I didn't "cum everywhere", sadly.
Nice
ohhh.... the tree is... ohhhh
absolutely great
lovely
Nice... Now could we please have the executable? Having only one version of the demo kinda defeats the purpose of a "generative film".
respect!
looks nice, but it'll defer judgement until the executable is out
that's some hot generated geometry!
dear matvei & al. - maybe you missed this?
"- - to render a version of the 3 minute film at 100 frames per second PAL resolution took about 8 hours."
just let mr statix make a realtime version in peace if he's so inclined, he even said he'd release the source.
and when he does that, if you rip the algorithm, at least please use it for something else, ok? I'm not looking forward to seeing this same tree 100 times next year :)

rather nice. too bad the wma quality is so bad :/
Statix = scene god
yay, give use realtime :)
yeah.
gimme more.
gimme more.
Visions from a weird world. Maybe a little more should have happened, but nice as it is.
Hmm,.. generative art? Interesting. He could perhaps release the generating source or binary too, to be complete. If it would be realtime, would be a dream, but I just want too much...
what am i missing? dont give me an art answer
Excellent.
Now, why the heck is it only available in low-quality sucky-WMV and in sucky-Quicktime? *grumph*

stefan, how about this?: that it's beautiful.
goddamn! we want realtime!!
well done!
Interesting, experimental looking stuff. The tree scene is indeed nice. No loud complaints about the movie quality coz the small size maked it possible for me to download it ;)
Just excellent!
it's nice... like to see either a .exe or a nonsucking .wmv
This was different, but like many of the above comments, I want to see it in realtime!
It was nice to watch, but I found it a bit boring.
yes
very very cool. have to let the pc render over the night i guess :)
great.
proof positive that 'generative art' is not necessarily 'throw in some pictures from google with noise on top'-kind of thing.

beautiful! :)
Oh.. How very well done Mr. Evans.
ekxellent
there is something in my pants. beautiful.
well done.. realtime, you can! :)
excellent prod...

Have just seen that Statix released the source and executable code of this abstract beauty in his site!
impressive!
very cool indeed !!
Absolutely wonderful
I have put my computer working this morning, before I left for university. Wondering in which computer did Statix got 8 hours of rendering. I hope neither it's still calculating, nor my mom has switched down my computer.. :P
this is the most amazing piece of work i've ever seen.
lol @ elric
Hey, hey, hey, hey! The source is creating 4GB of TGA files!!! Am I supposed to connect them in some way? Good wines, as we say in Greece ;P
no, you are supposed to delete them and start planting orchids now.
erm, nice...
but honestly, it's not really impressive to me.

nice
great. hope to see it realtime someday
kinda very cool...
great visuals. nice tune. yes. thank you.
very beautiful, it's superb.
hmm, reminds me of the "Tool - Schism"-video. Inspired or just coincidence?
megacool
goo
I really don´t care about not being realtime.

Absolutely sublime.
GOSH.
absolutely great
stylish & bizarre
And now realtime.
Maybe because it's nearly three years later, or maybe I missed something, but I didn't find it that impressive.

Why on earth didn't I mention that this is one of the most impressive things I have seen in my scene-experience. The sound is not really my cup of tea - BUT it does fit the project and the concept perfect. I'd love to see more of this kind.
Instant Thumb up!
A.n.d. you will see more of this kinded artwork Puryx.
