Although this is far from impressive from a technical point of view, i was fond of the small story you implemented and especially how it came around at the end without doing any explaining. One gets the point and it gave this small product a lot of its beauty.
Was a bit too long in my opinion, but the style and feeling was nice.

Regardless of the story, this dragged on for far too long... And ugh, the terrain... I don't know the exact limitations of the RasPi but I'm rather sure that a bit more detailed and diverse terrain should be possible with 64 MB of VRam and 192 MB normal RAM. This way, it looked more like an early software render prod.
My senses of aesthetics hurt.

Cute. But a bit long. And very simple billboards.
Despite the longish cam movements between the 'scenes' I was somehow captivated by the story itself.

I do like the story, and I bet you know yourself that the presentation could have been better, though for your (first?) demo together it's quite neat.
To the story, it's quite a brick you throw at the audience to chew on - but it's good that you went with it. It made me think about using the opportunities that show up while walking alive on this beautiful planet (it's not 0x00ff00 though), though put more time into it next time - you have the ideas :)
Also titeiko slap zerkman when he uses that colours again, liked your 2D graphics!

Nice platform, and I would actually like to see more demos in this vein. The colours and camera paths did indeed need work, but I liked the 2D gfx and the actual presence of a story!
A weak thumb up from me. I liked the concept, and the way it was done was in a good direction I think.
On the other hand, it was too long for the content. The message can get lost if the mind wanders in between making points. And the visuals could have been better (particularly the camera paths, at times they seemed pretty random).

Nice demo, a bit long and slow, but with a coherent story and direction.
way too long so it sadly tends to be boring (because there is nothing going on between the points of the story and the visuals aren't an eyecandy). but it's a really nice concept, so motivational thumb ;)

Would be good as an early software rendering demo but this really doesn't use the Pi's hardware well. You have a 700mhz ARM processor and hardware accelerated 3D with 256mb of system RAM. Make use of it!
