Nice stuff from Kewlers; the first demo I really enjoyed in this year's Assembly democompo.
I loved this myself, can't put my finger on why, but it was an enjoyable experience.

While many demos kinda followed the same trend in terms of lotsa-stuff-on-screen and sound, this one clearly stood out. Quality entertainment.

Great effects and great design. However, this trend for glitchy post processing is very dated and getting way too cliched now.
It would be nice to be able just enjoy the demo effects without having them break up and glitch in time to the beat.
Nonetheless, a good demo and cool soundtrack.

Same impression as with 'devolution': They are going through the motions. The tech is still there, but fresh ideas seem to be in short supply.

The stream didn't do justice to this one. It ran super-super smooth on my pc. Some very pleasing visuals and the music is very well arranged/mixed even if not standing out as something special in my book.
I think the demo lacks direction, but hey.. it's a fast prod.. and for a fast prod it rocks hard! Definitely a keeper.

Really fresh and directly into the face. Again, strong music and interesting to watch for sure. All the disting, lowrez-ing and smoothing is a bit too much for my taste, as I hardly couldn't spot the demo effects anymore in quite some moments. Anyhow, the last part is overwhelming, maybe just because of the contrast. Really hope to see more from kewlers, love your stuff!

The liquid effect is quite lovely but otherwise I think I'd love a bit more cheese and a bit less frowning in a Kewlers demo. To me We Cell still feels a lot fresher in this style.

This was brilliant, Kurli is such a master in making things look really sharp and interesting! Couldn't watch it in fullscreen though, all display modes failed but it worked really well in windowed. ( nVidia GTX 460m with latest Asus drivers )

I'd class this one as 'near miss'. As in it was nearly 1995-level awesome, but just missed.
The logos at the start: awesome. The rave part too. And the tune. And the other rendering style near the end was nice.
But the parts after the logos sucked a little. They were slightly boring scenes, with slow moving cameras, and just lots of glitch to liven it up. With some sync of the objects or the camera movement, these parts could have been ruling like the rest, and the whole demo would kick ass.
Still a seriously cool demo though, and I'll be watching it again. Any chance of a final with just a little extra sync in there? :D

This is the only flawless demo in the compo. The pinacle of kewlers work with particles and rave themes. I wish it ended up much higher in the competition, I was expecting a top-3 placement, even first place.

Felt like a mashup between We Cell and that Andromeda Sucks demo (or something) by Excess. Asskicking soundtrack and cool particles, enough for a thumb, but something's missing. Too much stuff dead-centered on screen and obvious syncing, perhaps?

great! Musik rocks, gfx, fonts and iconstuff are all just my cup. lil critics: could use more showoff of the particle capabilities! I mean everything is almost constantly drained in distortion. This is where teh beginning is very clear and cool though!
Solid production, classic Kewlers style :). It does feel like I've seen it before but it's a great effort so I don't really mind. The soundtrack is really great and I did enjoy the Mayday iconography in combination with the hoover sounds :D. Lovely to hear the music slowly creep into retro mode like that ;D. Overall, not a game-changer but enjoyable nevertheless.
A little less glitchery and a little less rotation around the screen center, then I would completely agree with Navis.

This was flawlessly executed, with a tight and conservative synch and lovely grittiness. Apart from it obviously being a great prod I'm staying with break and kb.

Just all effects from 1995 reproduced with particles and tons of TV noise. Hmm. But 2nd half of the track is nice and it has atari_c.png in the data files, so it's OK for me.
