MegaHawks INC still seems to be in excellent shape. That lifting really shows in here.

Nice oldschool stuff. The voxel(?) effects were nice. Is it software rendering btw? Not sure, 640x480, also voxelball render shows.
I've asked the Hawks and it is SSE powered software rendering, 640x480. The decision to pick the desktop resolution and letterbox/scale was based upon the fact that it's much worse, nowadays, to force an app. into true 640x480 on flat screens. Check the windowed version for 1:1 accuracy.
Hot stuff, too bad about old tune (but a great tune!) though. Nice Miami Vice logo.

Just spoke to the Hawks. The Youtube rip, though appreciated, is ass though. Framerate is totally off and some things are plain compressed into nothingness at lower qualities.
It's why video captures are infinitely less interesting to begin with. YouTube (re)compression still sucks.
They suspect this is because of a 30fps rip whereas all this runs well above 60 on even a netbook.
Makes you wonder who'd need a capture from a software demo, really :)
The multi-use of the logo would've made more sense if it was a megademo with section loaders but here it feels a bit too obviously like a gap-filler :) Music and visuals are quite nice, tho.
