lame german techno demo from the 90s
sucks added on the 2003-11-23 15:00:54 by elkmoose elkmoose
it had its moments.
it was the first berlin-engineered technodemo on the amiga ever, tho we had better protagonists coming out on the amiga =)

How the hell did I not comment on this yet - right. This was one of the demos that I could show to people in the states and they would suddenly UNDERSTAND. And then people wanted to do something similar, and in some cases, they'd actually start things. So for me, this one of the most important demos ever. (Also, for those of you who hate Amiga demos because they all look alike, you might notice there are 0 sinus scrollers in it.)
It's not the worst technodemo I've seen then, but i still have absolutely no idea why people do stuff like that!

Oldie and not really a goldie, but still thumbing it up. The soundtrack was on some early 90's spanish bacalao compilation.

This Demo was relesed for the "Electronic Arts Syndrome" in Berlin 1990. A Video-Arts exhibition sponsored by Commodore :-)

Can't remember it was a "II" (was there a "I"?!) but I fucking loved it and I freaked out when my disk had an error and I couldn't get hold of it again.
BTW: I'm from Berlin, so the demo was quite probably not very wie-spread. Would have deserved more attention. This techno stuff wasn't lame in 1990, honest. ;)

It indeed wasn't lame. Was something different. And I think it wasn't spread THAT badly. :) At least a lot of my friends (many of them non sceners) had this demo back then. :)

I just discovered that And One (a famous german EBM band) uses that logo from this demo on there live show

Anyway good demo for that time.

A true classic!

I discovered it 20 years ago in an Amiga magazine's article about demos :')

Bahaha, I choked on my coffee here. And One !=EBM, more like kindergarten pop! And Mr. Naghavi is the kindergarten leader!

Most hilarious comment I read in a long while! :D

The track is awesome. I still listen to it in 2014. excellent demo. we need more techno!

Classic soundtrack ;). I remember it from a PC cracktro from a few years later. The demo as such isn't all that great but it's got a consistent style at least.

... although, considering this is from 1990 I would say that it's way more interesting than a lot of other demos from that time period :).

Should be 1991, not 1990.. I posted it in the fix me beautiful thread.

legendary mod. demo itself was interesting for a release date, but wasn't my cup of tea.

The demo itself is the most seizure inducing thing I have ever seen. Nothing special at all, no fancy effects or anything, way too much flashing. The music on the other hand is quite good and one of the more famous old MOD's.
