FUCK YES! More OCS demos like this please!
rulez added on the 2013-02-11 16:52:36 by grip
Nice and Clean demo with smashing fresh gfx and design, and a really nice track that proves yet again that hot tracks still can be made in 4 channels, even in 2013 (Xerxes, did you get that? HÆH? :P)
Stylewise my favourite of that night, so darn sharp, ace palette and a bunch of neat ideas - along with soothing monster of a tune. I'd print those 2D art pieces and hang them on my walls,- you guys rock, a lot :D
this brightened up my day a lot =)
cute, really liked the syncro.
Yes very very good
watched it twice just for the 2d gfx alone. lovely demo!
Nice demo like back in the day... Enjoyable.
solid prod - thumb
Aah, those were the days! :)
saw it live from brbtitan! added some more awesomeness to it.
sweeeet! I loved that sine scroller near the end!
great stuff
gfx!
REFUND!
Stylish. Too bad it's mostly seen-before retro effects, but the tune and graphics warrant a thumb up.
Up Rough comes back and shows others how it's REALLY done. I'm not usually into oldskool demo design but here it's done exceptionally well, complemented wonderfully by the more newskool minimalist design. One of the best A500 demos I've seen.
Beauty! More OCS demos from you guys plz!!!
Up Rough : The Royal Kings of the Amiga Scene!

my a600 approves of this production!
great work guys, keep it up!
great work guys, keep it up!
Very solid and sharp, awesome gfx prowler & others.. Tune fits like a glow but is not something i'd listen outside the demo probably. Nice work!
Rulez of course!
Major A500 release! And your best to date (well, IMNSHO) But Booger, where is the sixth ball we discussed? ;P Absolutely cracking art as well. Good show, stiligt lejon and all that.
amigaaaa! :))
WOW! This is fucking awesome demo! The music is just excellent and the pics are simply wonderful... just breathtaking!
and i forgot to add - fullscreen pictures - awesome pixelart!!!
great stuff
Rockin'!
Was not involved in this demo so here is one thumb up for great concept and choice of platform!.
thumb goes Up.
rough.
rough.
solid.
Great demo! Great combination of code, graphics and music. Hope to see more from you soon!
Awesome!
Love it!
:)
excellent
A few nice pictures and ok effects in this one, music + scroller does not fit my taste.
Was nice to watch this on big screen!
The whole package! This is what happens when skilled people work together. Well done!
ok
great job, wasn't involved in this one, so big up for amazing music, artwork and coding!!
Waited until I ran it on the real McCoy.
Gorgeous pictures, sweet routines and a banging choon !

Up Rough Soundsystem. OCS. <3
Nice, especially liked the plasma girl part!
Thumb Up Rough
bra skit
Very well done prod!
rock solid
Really enjoyed the homage to Poltergeist!
was going to post exactly the same thing, sweet poltergeist ectoplasma and driving tune, simple but big and smooth fx, awesome
great demo especially liked the gfx, tune was sweet too
Well deserved thumb up!
Yeah, the Poltergeist plasma is a cool part, but overall it's a rather dull string of old standard effects with sterile music, lacking charm and details (transitions etc.). Piggy.
We need a lot more stock Amiga 500 or 1200 demos. Bring it on people.
Yes please.
Had some good moments.
Thumb for the gfx and releasing an a500 demo in 2013 !
but why those simple tunnel routines in there ?
but why those simple tunnel routines in there ?
Yeah, very good prod! Cool design and interesting music. I really like it.
That was pretty boring in spite of great pictures. Music is brain killing tho :(
:)%%%%
Great to see a ton of nice old amiga effects again :) Some lovely artwork in this too.
Only bit I didn't like much was the rotozoomer, which was low res to the point where I could tell it was a rotozoomer but not much else.

Mega mighty! Wasnt involved in this so I am objective! Qwans music is the prick on the i!
Great! Especially the graphics!
Proper A500 stuff. Thank fuck for the fact it still gets made and, in the case of this, so beautifully too. This type of thing is the exact type of thing I'd be coding... if I only I had the skills... <sniff> :D
always loved the work from prowler !
this is art !
music is a bit repetitive.
nice demo...

nice demo...
maybe not a "wow!" but very enjoyable demo.
100% 1-frame effects on an A500 in 2013. Thumbs up Booger! I'd go so far as say that the Amiga 500 is by far the most interesting constraints to work within now, LET'S GO.
Enyoable, esp. the pictures and the plasma.
great music and killer gfx!
nice music, nice gfx, boring demo.
yeah!
Disco emotion! Good still pics.
Great graphics but otherwise this leaves me a bit stale. C64 guys can innovate on the design department and make fresh stuff, I'm sure that Amiga guys can as well.
the music was bloods brilliant! could have been released on nightslugs.
lovely font, some excellent graphics. i just would wish the visuals as a whole had a more "dirty" feel and were more agressively synched to the music.

standard a500-stuff.
the music made this worth it!
the music made this worth it!
Not bad. I am not crazy about its music though.
+ Style + Gfx + Soundtrack = perfect entertainment!
Great.
nice work!!!
great graphics, demo not so entertaining tho
Small thumb up from me.

Always good to see new A500 releases - very nice demo. The "woman-tree" gfx impressed me hard.
nice demo, good design :)
Also small thumb from me.
groovy!
Really liked the artwork in this one - especially the lighting.
Nice prod, but not wow.
The graphics really rocked the house.
The rotozoom was the low point of the prod :\ I've seen better ones on Atari ST.

Noticed a particularly cool ascii logo at the begining ;-)
Nice to see A500 release but I've seen better extracted from the hardware.
Really cool old-school demo. The full-screen pictures are really great!
great gfx! tune keeps it alive.
Great demo, love the music and GFX rox!
Nicely put together little piece! Some great Prowler gfx. I also really like the very last part, the 'xor'-balls part. Perhaps not so technically astounding or innovative, but it just looks plain good!
Very smooth in every way, UPRough kicking ass as usual! =)
Nice demo
Very, very nice demo!
Clean and fresh, design, good code, and excellent Prowler's graphics resulted in one of the most interesting demos for the Amiga 500 in recent times, which can successfully compete with the old classic titles.
Über-Stylish OCS demo. Loved the overall flow and the sine scroller towards the end. The pic by Prowler is out of this world. Here is my Amiga 30 thumb for you. Thanks!
Everything is already said...
Great music and out-of-this-world graphics perfectly combined with very nice coding effects. One of the best demos for A500!
Thumbs up!
wheres the mod?
I love the plasma scene
what slayer said!
Very consistent look with that grey and rainbow scheme. Throw in a few good pictures and a cool track and it is a great package! Very enjoyable prod
geil
Some really nice audiovisuals in here!
Great visuals and music
