Didn't realise it had sound and moved :)
no compatibility - no thumb
It destroyed my ears
cancer indeed
Glad to see so much <3 for MATRAKA
Thank you Lungcancer Entertainment.
- thec.style.cssText='position:fixed;left:0;top:0;width:100%;height:100%' approach
- exact same WAVE PCM header
- exact same 13107103135701314204 pattern co-written by 4mat and I
- the synth with inlined calls to btoa(...)
- the same Z.play(setInterval(function b( with the same variable name for the Audio object, and named function for the interval despite the fact that you never call that function explicitly.
Thank you Lungcancer Entertainment.
k, anger maybe after more drama! ;)
Pretty decent. (i don't mind the ripping)
No anger. I'm really glad my code proved useful, but disappointed that you hardly changed anything :\
Sorry about the fuckup in the compo, I have absolutely no idea why it didn't do anything there. I just checked it again here in the same browser on the same machine and it runs fine...
On my Firefox it has the same problem as on the compo machine:
Code:
Timestamp: 2012.10.02. 12:21:28
Error: The character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must to be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol.
Source File: file:///C:/techno.html
Line: 0
("Same problem" as in "stands still")
Gargaj: Granted there was more than enough room to set the encoding in this room, but surely Firefox lets you pick the [default] encoding.
p01: that was the only error I got, so I figured it might have to do something with it not running, but on second check, it looks like the millisec parameter is missing from setInterval. when i added it manually, at least the visuals started working.
Doh! The delay is optional in setTimeout and setInterval In HTML5, but Firefox's quirks mode ( tirggered by omitting the <!doctype html> ) requires it.
Good to know.
Good to know.
You should put more effort in testing and compatibility. Also not nice to rip. Also left a bad impression after the failure at the big screen.
K
ok one... am I the only one to note that the reflection on a record does NOT spin on real vinyl?

if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.
instead, click here !
I tested it in Chrome and Opera, and it works well. Has "music" and it moves - even if during the compo it was only a still image :(
So please, use Chrome and run it locally.
