Tried XP? Vista and up seem to have terrible GDI32 performance. Would have been a nonissue if zorke used OpenGL or D3D9 (yes you can do OpenGL in MASM, just look at hitchhikr's examples).

Seeing that you have released several productions over the last three months, i suggest to take a little more time and put all effort into one bigger, more fluent one. Overall, not bad but still much space for improvement.

music was good, with a retro feeling. but i think you have potential with a more effects release.
Thumb for the effort and for releasing something. Would have been nice if the scroller movement was a little bit more interesting, but not too bad overall.
