This would really benefit from some form of AA. Those hard contrast edges look nasty.

By far the best entry in the compo and tied for my favorite for the party. Classic midskool styke idm shit, nothing but love from me.
Version 1.1, tested with SGS, SGS2, SGS3, GNex (all Ice Cream Sandwich) and Nexus 7 (Jelly Bean). Apparently doesn't work with 2.3 (Gingerbread), but will fix that when i have some logs about the crash...

My favorite from the compo - love the small (but vital) syncs as well as the music.
v1.1 runs smoothly on Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 plus. Would be nice if the Honeycomb -statusbar was hidden though (setSystemUiVisibility).

Not that impressive IMO. I know it's an Android prod, and that's worth some alone, but still - it enters a demo competition where you have no hardware or size-limitations. I think one could fairly expect a little more content and some more interesting music. It's definately not a thumb down, but I just can't thumb it up either. It somehow seems a little rushed or restricted in some way or another. Can't quite explain why, it's just the feeling I get when watching this. A pigge it is.

@kurli: I downloaded it last night. But I realized that I had actually flashed the first phone with a Gingerbread build. I tried it today with ICS, and got the gl_oes_mapbuffer missing popup instead.
It seems like this extension is supported mainly on PowerVR and NVidia Tegra GPUs. The GPUs in the devices I tested were Mali 400 and Adreno 320, so pretty modern ones in the midend/highend mobile segment.
Perhaps you could use a fallback similar to this for GPUs not supporting this extension.

Mic: Actually the newest version doesn't require or check the extension anymore, maybe you'll need to kill+remove+install the app or something... Here is the latest version (1.2)
Just tried it on my Pivos XIOS (ICS + Mail-400), it ran at about 8fps or so. Looked and sounded nice, though :)
v1.2 ran fine on an Adreno 320 (Snapdragon S4 platform / ICS), but I'd expect no less. Only a few short moments of lag.
The demo seems quite polished, and looks and sounds pretty good. I can't help but thinking that the white flashing light was very overused though.

congrats, the best demo for android so far. smooth & shiny on a8 1ghz + mali400. what kurli said, updating may not work so be sure to uninstall the app completely then try with the latest version

Great! Not so advanced technically as more recent Kewlers releases, but the style is still really nice and everything runs super smooth.
Cool Kewlers production for pocket devices.
This looks pretty great on high pixel density screens where you can't see all the aliasing. :P The screenshot scene in particular looks impeccable on a 8" z3 tablet.
