As a collector of classic games, I really can appreciate this demo. What a cool idea! You guys nailed the old classic arcade font perfectly.. I second Spin's comment on proper Tron and Pacman parts. A much deserved thumb up. New and nostalgic at the same time!

What Gargaj said, some effects seem to lack a little bit of finetuning but this was rather nice. The Asteroids scene was great :)

WOW, for the first time this year, then i really liked this production. Not only was it a fresh and entertaining to watch, but it also is featuring the best soundtrack for a PC demo for ages.

I guess Fiat Homo lifted my expectations a little too high, since I found this one highly disappointing for a Traction release. Liked the pongfield though.

Extremely nice demo with great concept and exectution. And it doesn't need fancy hardware to run... Works fine on my GF4-Ti 4600 + P4 1.7Ghz. The ending was abrupt though.

A fine little nostalgia trip with the very fitting musical style previously featured at least in demarche's evidence.
I love the 80s wireframes and also am a sucker for all the old games. I think what's remarkable is how well they are utilized here to create demo effects and, ultimately, a great demo. Best infinite planes ever. :)

keops: Considering that Black Maiden still hasn't released the final version of Concrete, or even the compo version, and broke the compo rules at TUM, I think the "moral winner" thing applies here. Not that I give a damn about the standings in the compo though, I had fun making Insert Coins and it's made people smile so I'm happy.

Soundtrack did the most part for me, which doesn't mean the visuals lack anything - but the tune grabbed me by it's hand - and we were off - to a journey into line land.
My jaw dropped a bit in the pong scene, man this must have taken some nights to get all those paddles work together.

The pong part was pretty easy, it's just a simple "AI" that's playing it. And that's an insult to pretty much every AI routine out there. This was pretty easy and straightforward to make, and the tune was really inspiring. I still think that the Tetris part in the screenshot is one of the most succesful parts that I've ever made.

One of the demos that actually made me want to try demo (effect) coding. Still surprisingly fresh :)
I'm afraid the mission to travel to 80's aesthetics wasn't completed succesfully. The video game parts were nice and the Tetris section was possibly the visually coolest part of the demo. Sadly, the tune didn't sound very retro to me - especially the standard gated supersaws really broke the illusion.
This refuses to run in win10 64 nvidia. Suggestions?
There was a bug in the timer code around those days that might cause some issues. I can't really help you out in this regard though, as the source code is lost :(
