Good beggining, some ugly coloured 3D objects, and some gfx too pixelated (antialising them wouldn't have hurted). Has some good things, so I won't give a sucks

nice music and some very nice scenes. 3d objects looks really ugly... but who cares. rest of the demo is nice

Barely makes the OK mark. The particles (or whatever you wanna call 'em) was somewhat entertaining.
I liked the DOS version, so a port is always nice :)

I like it, especially the 16bpp rgb 8x8-block effect :)

this one is correct, but runs only in 320*200 mode... ?
added on the 2003-02-18 21:56:23 by sokoban sokoban
sokoban: Yes originally only 320x200x16 bpp (while the port is 640x480x32). I coded it in fakemode because my gfx-card did not support 16-bpp at the time and 320x200 was not that bad under DOS at the time. It's not heavily optimized or anything but still, the original version works OK on my P100 (apart from the 3d-scene which doesn't work OK at any computer at all). When watching this you have to consider the fact that is was made "back in" 1998 which is not that long ago, but still..

zzed: hehe, one year too late then considering it was released 97. Or you really ment 7 years too late, as in it should have been released 90? :)

Ugly 3D, mostly just recycling effects that had been seen hundred times over and lacks design.

unfortunately, the 3d part was so extremly bad, that i can't thumb it up.
the rest was pretty ok, some parts good, some not so.
and the music is very cool!
