OpenGL 4.0 is not supported. is the error i got, guess my hardware is not good enough.

one thing bothers me, though: why did you use libSDL? OpenGL and sound init routines are pretty simple on windows, so for windows-only prod you don't need any helper libraries at all. libSDL is mainly used on linux or for porting stuff.

Seriously what an excellent demo, direction, effects and music fits very nicely together.
I really appreciate the TV set dot emulation and the "painting" effect at greetings part.
Imho the scene with the white cubes is a bit too fast, the cubes seem to flicker/shiver.
Oh and usually PacMan doesn't blink his eye ;)

Thank you all for your feedback! It seems like I've misjudged the average OGL version =(. Also, it doesn't work with kkapture unfortunately.
Does not work here. Sad. Error log without an entry. A Video would be nice.

Very good and original visuals. Is that your first? Then it's really really good for first.
Awesome and stylish. A bit faster pace and some kind of a higher concept wouldn't hurt the direction, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with the demo. Looking forward to your next one!
This was pretty damn cool.
Easily the best firstie I've ever seen. What Preacher said for the most part, too. Also I'd like to add I loved the rendering on the voxel part. Keep it up! :)
oh, and my main criticism: the music sounded like a cheap 4k tune. But again, GREAT for a one-man firstie!

I've uploaded a YouTube video with disappointing quality and framerate (my first time using YT and capture). Meanwhile I will put more effort into verifying the compatibility of my future prods (and making the music less 4k-ish). Thanks again for your comments!

Very good as a first demo or not. Some nice rendering here. Puts many established groups to shame
For some reason VERY sub 4k-ish in places (music, font, limited sync), but the actual effects are rather well done. :)

Looks great for a firstie! Well, except the greetings part. Tune has too random melodies and sounds more like cheap 4k track, indeed. Otherwise, good work!

I couldn't get it to run either (W7, NVIDIA 570 GTX), but watching the video I like what I see - a lot of promise! The music was really not good at all, try getting a group together or working with a musician and your next demo will be smashing. :)
A couple of very sweet effects, not too much flow and the music was... interesting. Good job anyways.
Ferris: Yes I am! I didn't realise you were that guy (but I suspected a little). I don't remember producing anything but back then I didn't even know C++.

The music is archaic but this thumb goes for the visuals and the shader work! Surely among the best first-prods.

watched the video. if this is a first demo and procedural generated, then you might consider writing a 64k or 4k next time! anyway, thumbs up for fresh new stuff! i like the pacman scene the most.

Nothing to add really. Interesting visuals, fairly simple effects but with an interesting spin. Can't say anything about the music that hasn't already been said. I think that with a really upbeat, retro style soundtrack this would've been kickass :D.

"OpenGL init failed." in my error_log.txt file. It is probably because I still use a 3.33333... years old ATI Radeon 4870 PCIe video card (512 MB of RAM) and very old, updated Windows XP Pro. SP3. :( I watched YouTube video, and it was decent. :)

It's a nice demo (I enjoyed the utmost of the pacman effect) but the music is bad and not matching the whole demo at all!
