Totally my mistake guys as usually nes prods get really screwy if you have the wrong mode by accident.

To everyone saying it needs effects: you are not wrong and I totally agree. Had to cut some stuff late in the cycle that didn't run reliably on hardware in favor of consistency. A big part of the demo was done on location at ALT (25h almost non-stop party hacking, woo!). So I didn't dare do too many risky additions before turning it in. :-/
So yes, I too wanted more out of the demo, but it is ok for a first try I think. Especially considering none of us had worked with the platform before, just weeks before the compo. But, it is not an excuse, just an explanation. :D
In any case: thanks everyone for all the congratulations! It means a lot to us. Honestly.

oasiz No worries. It happens. Who knows, maybe we won because it ran in NTSC xD. We could always to "a Capcom" and release it as "Super Stalin Bros: Turbo edition".
