Well-deserved win. Many empty scenes but the content was creative and the soundtrack carried it all the way :)

I get an error message which says gl_Color is deprecated since version 120 (I think it was) and another about a missing parameter in a shader. Apart from the synapse effect, it was all black.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M. Driver version 8.17.12.6114, Driver date : 29.10.2010.. Might be a bit old and cranky..

From what I remember from stream, visuals were okish - but the soundtrack saved it ;)

Unfortunately it doesn't run for me no matter what sys/driver combination I choose with my nvidia :(

GF GT 540M, Win7-x64

Got the same problem as loaderror, but I have a GTX560 and reasonably up-to-date drivers.

+nice acid. +fast on e-save. -loads. -bit empty. piggy that is.

it's loading for 5-10 minutes, throws a few errors, then it starts with a black screen. Music starts with nice choirs (seems to be a really cool synth btw) then comes some wub-wub-wub and it turns to dubstep :-/

The video will be there when the graphics-bugs are fixed, I'm sure. I also updated the soundtrack since the first one got completely destroyed by my crappy mp3-conversion.

Fix available at the download link for the problems loaderror reported.

Requires OpenGL 3.3 (put in a check - and sorry Zawie), and a shitload of memory.

Apparently putting out incompatible crap is just part of our modus operandi. Sorry, we have lives.

The killer tune and sync more than make up for the rather uninteresting visuals :)

Having it seen now in realtime, the visuals are bit better than what Ive seen on stream, but still the music is what saves it for me :D

Seems like you've implemented some sort of extrude+smooth operation. I like this growing geometry. Put it to good use for the next prod. Kindergarden pls!! :)

Okay, I think the sync was off or something the first time I watched. I want to upgrade my comment on the visuals from 'ok' to 'nice'. Love the objects growing with the bass :)

The brain-synapse scene is different on my machine compared to the youtube video. The synapse/neurons are orange while the pulses are black. Looks like a few layers of post-processing is missing.

There really seems to be a problem with the synapse/neurons scene as loaderror pointed out. The Rip I made was using Win7. I made another Rip using one of my WinXP installations with the same drivers (newest stable NVIDIA) as in Win7 and it looks different there :|
As you're saying it now I think I remember from the stream that the synapses should be yellowish and not black.

Ouch. That actually stings a bit. I know you base this on your experience with our releases, so I don't blame you, but you're COMPLETELY wrong. What you don't know on your own body is how fucking hard 64ks actually are (especially when you start from scratch). We've worked on this for a couple of years, and we haven't even GOTTEN to the part where we start focusing on the visuals. By this time next year I hope to have proved you completely, utterly WRONG.

Considering how absolutely awesome the music is in every Fnuque 64k, I would say this is a fairly empty statement.

A thumb for the sync in this one. Black backgrounds or not, it was a pleasure to watch.

Why? .. that's just confirming my own opinion about Fnuque .. completely awesome music every single time, but this graphics is just a step down, the start of the intro is good, rest is not my cup of tea.

(but thats what you get whenever doing serious stuff, people can complain, that's probably why I do entertaining/shitty/fast things since I can't impress anyone)

I'm going to go ahead and call this "meh".

I liked the ambience in the beginning and the music had a lot of appeal to me, but the last minute with the extruded meshes pretty much ruined the impression :/ It looked like first draft of effect tests instead of something that should be put in the production.

i just had a try with my green-pink anaglyph-glasses and partly this seemed to be designed for these ;) atleast it looked even better partly.

Weird demo. No problems with my old ATI Radeon 4870 video card with 512 MB of RAM in old, updated Windows XP Pro. SP3 machine. ;)
