@gr9yfox there are more old movie like demos, like cocoon's numerica 2 invitation. Although I don't remember any demo that runs at 16fps like a silent film :)

good idea. well executed. i wish the effects also got got some sort of silent film treatment, but i suppose that'd be pretty hard to do. either way, cool stuff.
xeche: I got to the point of not knowing what to do with the effects in terms of silent film / oldschool demo balance. I wanted to give some post processing to each frame to make it look like and old film but I couldn't make anything better than those vertical lines you see every frame.

I'd forgotten about that one Puryx. There's another one that I'm thinking of though that had more of a brown colour throughout and was more of a routine after routine demo if I remember correctly.

Ya, funny idea deaf-films. 'has not even born yet' :-). A lot of standard effects, but well-executed. Disguises the obvious simplicity behind its sophisticated, old good wine mask, and does it well. I liked. A fine feather in the hat of feathers definitely!

I quite liked the idea, even though the old film imperfections do not seem to work with large pixels very well. Could have been great with a more thoughtful blending of styles. The choice of track is priceless.
