Fast demo or not, most 2000-2003 productions (DX8, OGL 1.whatnot) run fine on my netbook so I don't see the reason to resort to a standard lower than we had back then. Limp Ninja did a nice lowend demo for one. GMA chipsets might not have vertexshaders but we got a long way without those before, right?
(I mean GMA945... I know the later ones are semi-decent at best, my MacBook has X3100)

That tunnel part looked more like Circus Excrement. Nice tune, sounded a bit like something that Bruno could have done.

I agree with Plek. If used right this style could've been really interesting and original, but it feels like it's just been thrown together with no direction in mind.
