Silly bugger, it's linux. You're supposed to download 20 megs of lib dependencies, compile for 40 hours THEN watch! Because binaries is teh evil and linux only does GPL!
Actually the amount of dependencies is somewhat bigger as Haskell doesn't quite qualify as a small platform. Anyways, I added a quick binary which _might_ work if all the .png files are present. Expect a new release with a portable binary when we figure out how to make one :) Should be possible as Haskell related stuff is linked in statically. Meanwhile there is a recorded version available: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUSXD3vwYpg
no.
why:
1) it requires haskell compiler
2) it requires png++, which my distro doesn't have
3) binary from comment fails to find libgmp.so.10 (why do you need gmplib anyway?!)
piggy for effort.

dunno
i like the style of the prod so its a thumb.
good thing theres a youtube vid =)

This is an excellent way to minimize the amount of viewers :) Jesus..
Because it only runs on your machine.
Sorry about that. Hot Lambda Lovin' obviously needs to work on it's releases to stay as one of the most prominent groups in Central Finland that specialize in functionally programmed graphics with latin lyrics.
Dependency to png++ was unnecessary and now gone. Haskell is tighly married to gmp, which is now included in the git repo. Windows version is missing as text generation is done with pangocairo through FFI. It should be possible to do in a portable way now that we have two demos worth of experience.
Hopefully there are decent Linux and Windows builds in a few days :)

what xernobyl said
You lost me at "dependency"..
Up for doing a demo in Haskell!
Regardless of difficulties to run it, i found this invitation not bad at all with this "epic" music.
The green font at the end is just horrible imo.

great invitro, to bad i can't attend the party, but maybe some other year
nothing to remember
well, at least the youtube works.
invitation itself is quite simple, nothing special to see there.

Haskell.
Here's a thumb to promote the "fun in computing". (Haters, watch the youtube like normal people, goddamnit.)

I think it's extraordinarily important that we in computer science keep fun in computing.
Invtro. Music is, uhm, a bit spectacular. Oh yeah and: "Fun is when it runs..." ;)
As raer said, but let´s just consider it a wild entry then.
@hyde: if you prefer watching youtube then please gtfo of here and keep wasting bandwith for watching a jerky caricature full of compression artifacts of what has been supposed to be "realtime"

Nice! And I loved the music :D
What zerd and backspace said - but only a piggy from me - sorry :(
ok
